I just moved into a nearby apartment. This laundry is…read morelocated just a block away and I frequently see local residents and college students inside. There are many machines, baskets, and plenty of seats for patrons who are waiting. Machines are well maintained and there is a straightforward reporting procedure if machines break down. Parking is available on the street and in the alley on the rear side of the building. There is WiFi available, but it had to be restarted today to restore internet access. There is a restroom available for customers, but it was out of T.P. and paper towel. I feel the the machine prices are somewhat high, but the facility is maintained very well (compared to most laundromats), so I suppose the expense is justified. For a suggestion, I would like to see the hours for this business expanded. I am a rotating shift worker and am frequently in need of laundry service on days when I get home at 2AM.

The black blouse and black pants I wore on Wednesday reeked of garlic from a local resort from the "all you can eat" pasta bar from that night. I have a limited amount of dress clothes and wanted to wear them again, so decided to send them out to be laundered -- a service my hotel offered in conjunction with this local cleaners. I thought it would be worth it instead of going through the hassle of going to a laundromat especially when I'm working 11-12 hours a day. After work I payed for and picked up my freshly laundered outfit from the hotel lobby where it was dropped off and brought it to my room to hang it in the closet in preparation for my next day at work. To my absolute horror, my once beautiful, silky black blouse had obviously been washed with a load of towels or something of that sort. The lint was embarassing and unbearable to the eye. The front of the blouse was pilled and no longer silky smooth. The cleaners claimed my blouse was defective from the beginning and refused to refund the cost of getting it cleaned and of course refused to replace the blouse. If you come across Express Cleaners, please know and understand that this establishment doesn't care about your clothes or you, the customer.

We had a ton of laundry to do and we're happy to find that they had the very large size washers and dryers. They use. The pay range app however you can also use quarters as well as they had a change machine on the wall. They also had a spot where you could purchase detergent, but we usually travel with our own. The large washers were $5.50, which is probably the most expensive that we've seen. The dryers however were $.50 per 12 minutes Which is a pretty good price. All in all all of the laundry cost us about $20 today. One frustration that we had is putting $.50 in for the washer for 12 minutes just to finish drying a blanket and it really only ran four minutes, not sure why so we did spend a little extra trying to get everything completely dry. Seems to be a busy place, there were people in and out the entire time we're there. There is a gender, neutral restroom outside the front door that was actually clean, which was a nice added bonus when you have to do laundry. It also has a new name, it looks like it is now called sister base suds although it's still located on maps as country walk laundromat.
