Also the staff there was very kind. The worst part of the stay was few weeks later after stay, when I figured out that I got bedbugs. I have had the Anticimex inspected and can confirm that this is what I have. They were unable to see another link as to how they came from, anywhere other than from the overnight stay at their hotel. I emailed the hotel, and they were not helpful at all. Very sad cause this is not a situation I want to be in. I hope they are doing some actions to get rid of it so other customer would not get the same problems as me.

The reason for the…read morelow rating is because of the construction that the staff said "unnoticeable" and that when I called the front desk they hung up on me. Grant it may be because I was speaking english. Not sure if that would of matter or not since they said they spoke english. I called back and again i was hung up on. The room was pretty nice but there was not a great view because of a crane that was erected over night. The factory chimney was not a great view because it blocked the ocean view.Location was pretty nice and breakfast was okay. I will most likly not stay at this location again. Maybe I will give it a second chance when construction is completed.

Nice, no frills room with a very comfortable king sized (I think) bed. Pillows, covers and sheets were superb -- 5 stars. We slept very well. Bathroom had an interesting solution: if you happened not to close the 2 doors while on/in the toilet and someone knocked on the room door... Hahaa... well... the world is an oyster. The husband in the bathroom, the family at the door, I'm in between. 10 stars forever! Breakfast was great. Anything you'd expect from a luxury breakfast was presented: fresh scramble eggs, meats, pancakes, fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, GF, breads, etc. And the pièce de résistance was seeing my friend Alexander Klingspor's beautiful paintings in the dining room and lobby. Very nice stay.

Check in took minutes and we were given a lovely room with free early check in. Views were great and the windows opened. The vibe is super hip and fun. Oddly, the elevator and halls smelled musty and not good. Breakfast buffet did not rival Clarion Post, where we stayed previously but it was a lovely buffet. Marcus went the extra mile to insure our stay was great. Super location. Super quiet night's sleep in room 44.

Rooms are on the small side, however they are kept clean. Beds are comfortable except for a spine in the middle. Radiator system does not seem to respond to the thermostat on the wall. You can increase heat by raising the curtains and tucking them on the window sill. Or cool the room by dropping curtains to trap the heat against the window. Authentic and traditional Swedish breakfast served downstairs at the snazzy restaurant which has Instagram-worthy plated meals from an open kitchen that churns out delicious performance art.

Pretty good breakfast. Rooms are kept clean. Modern, clean deco. "At Park" restaurant is quite nice and serves very good food (especially compared to the foods they serve in America at the same price range places) Con: my "queen" bed was actually 2 single put together. I sleep on one side so I didn't change it, but it was slightly disappointing. Hair dryer was pretty old and it stopped every 30 second or so..I'd you have a lot of long hair, it could take a while. Also no coffeeshop inside the hotel. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. In the states, crappy airport inns can cost up to $180-200. This is in the middle of the old part of Goethenberg, with so many cultural things (library, concert hall, museum, theatre) in walking distance, and it feels like a hotel. Not a cheap inn. Highly recommend!

I loved all the food and we each had about 3 small plates to share and or try. We didn't make reservations and were lucky to get a table, because a large party had just finished and cleared up. I think reservations would be best.

Get a seat just after seating openings - otherwise food gets boring. You know, the buffet style. I have been here a couple of times and every time I sort of regret it. Some dishes are really good some are just not pleasant at all. If you want OJ it costs extra. I could wish for a better selection of bread and bagels. I could wish for a lot. I guess it is fun for kids, but if you really enjoy american brunches, don't go here.

There were three of us so we stayed in the family room, which is about the same size as a hotel room, but with a loft that has two extra beds. With just three people, it felt really cramped. The toilet was coming apart as shown in the picture I took. We informed them of this almost immediately, but after a two night stay nothing was done about it, even though we were informed it would be taken care of right away. The shower was awkward and was set up in a way that made it impossible for the water to not leak out to the rest of the bathroom. As soon as I stepped in to the bathroom, it felt dirty. This was confirmed when I found a dead silverfish on the extra toilet paper roll. It looked like someone had used the roll to squash it. When I asked my friends about it, both whom are very squirmish when it comes to bugs, they both creeped out and denied squashing the bug. There was another silverfish that ran across the floor shortly after. Breakfast was aweful and consisted of soggy eggs swimming in egg juice, plastic tasting sausage, and bacon that was either burnt or raw. Other than that, there was cereal, bread and rolls and a couple of toppings to choose from. I would rather spend money on buying my own breakfast than eat the crap they served here. So why do I give this place 3 stars? I wanted to give it two, but for some reason my friends liked it. They thought the bathroom was nice and that the hotel in general was nice. So I recognize that if you aren't used to anything better and have never stayed in a nice hotel, the conditions here might be perfectably acceptable for you. I still wouldn't recommend it unless you are looking to save money, but you get what you pay for.
