I would rate this law firm at a zero. We hired Mrs. Sheppard and have only spoken to her the day of…read morehire, which was a Thursday. She told us everything was signed and she would have the judge sign the protection order on Friday and papers would be served Friday. Needless to say, that never happened. With Monday being a holiday, my mom and I drove back to Arkansas from Texas on Monday and stayed in a hotel expecting to get a call back on Tuesday. That never happened. Then randomly on Wednesday after we drove back to Texas (Dallas), still no word from the law firm, I get a random text message asking me to sign yet another document for the protection order. A text, no phone call was ever made to us by Mrs. Sheppard. She only spoke to us once, the day of hire, she never followed through on anything and here we are a month out and still no phone calls, nothing has been done yet she demanded payment of $3000 immediately, which was paid in full. Now for the last two weeks of calling and emails to the firm for a refund (as we are a month in and nothing has been done) of my $3000, we still have yet to hear a word from the firm or get an email. Needless to say, Mrs. Sheppard stole $3000 from us, never has called or spoken to us except for the day of hire, still cannot call us back or yet to receive a refund. I am beyond aggravated and disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication from this firm. I will be taking further action against this firm for my full refund since absolutely nothing has been done regarding my case. Thankfully without the help of Mrs. Sheppard, my mom and I were able to get my daughter without the protection order or anything whatsoever being done. This is the worst law firm I have ever had to deal with. They just stole $3000 and did absolutely nothing.

Most of us don't wish to acknowledge our ultimate death, but doing some planning now makes the process easier for our descendants. After she doesn't do what she is suppose to, she won't by the way, fill out a grievance form provided from the CAAP. This may not get you money back but possibly your voice heard.
