A lot of police presence so we all felt safe. I honestly don't know where to start. I'll start with parking. Parking is free which was nice as we didn't have to pay woohoo! We parked by the Science 2 building (brought back memories when I went there from 2011 to 2015). It was fun to show my niece where I went to college and she now thinks Vintage Days is what goes on at colleges everyday haha I had to explain to her. Anywho , they have a plethora of shops and items for EVERYONE from kids, young adults, adults and so on. The niece of course gravitated to the arts and crafts booth ran by college students or volunteers, we got her a wrist band to check out all the rides and games even the petting zoo! They had a video game section inside which was cool and we played 3D super Mario with an actual maze, they also had vintage video games as well. The niece had such a ball!!!! She lost it when she saw baby yoda and the Mandalorian!!! We were both kids in that moment including the dude too haha. Got the nieces face painted . I spoiled her all day! They had so much food but we couldn't find water :( or anything to drink which was bummer as the time went on as the niece was really thirsty. I forgotten to pack water -_- so I went to 10 spots and no one had anything. Only staff had waters. Anywho, I ended up buying a Bonsai which was a total night mare as it was infested with bugs unfortunately when I brought it home from the vendor which is common when I researched the issue but it was beautiful while it lasted. Presently I had to spray it down and it's barely surviving ! But glad either way to support the man's small business. Overall, Vintage days is a MUST! Make sure to bring water or snacks as it was scarce this year. Great time and a lot of fun. We stayed the whole time practically!!!

We told their parents we'd be back in a couple of hours. We were having so much fun, we were there almost 4 1/2 hours! First we bought drinks and food from the student vendor booths and found a nice spot to enjoy, quickly. The kids were ready to check out all the fun. Thank you organizers for a fabulous Kids Zone, wow! Reptile Bob, Kim's Petting Zoo with pony rides, all of the inflatables from California Jumping. Just wow! Oh the train too. Perfect location. The kids rode the train 8x while we sat in the shade and enjoyed their excitement. The kids wanted Boba but the line was too long. We walked through the craft vendors a bit but the kids were ready to go by that time so we didn't get to enjoy. Next year. $20 for a kids bracelet was an absolute steal. No fee for parking, thank you. Food prices absolutely reasonable.

Best hidden secret spot is the Java/coffee house with the patio that serves wine and beer and live Jazz out back.

It's always great to run into old friends and make some new ones along the way!!! There's food, drink and pop corn snow cones and a good time. At the end of the evening they hand out awards top 10 asks a best of show.. The best part is having people walk up and say I had one of those cars in high school, there are apply of questions about our rides and many your car is beautiful, no matter the build the cars are our love and we get to spite them off!!

The dude and I came to Clovis Fest on 9/25/21 and planning on attending with my niece tomorrow…read more9/26/21. We stopped in to check out all the Goodies. Parking was so easy to find come early as a lot the neighborhoods were filling up pretty fast. We live down the street but decided to drive over in case I wanted to buy something and too heavy to walk back with. They have over 200 Booths with unique items. I am mostly interested in the Princess Booths with the face painting which I am planning on getting my face done along with my niece tomorrow. They also have a Beer Garden which was not open yet when we arrived today at 10am. They have so many food booths from BBQ, Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls, Boba, Indian Food, Mexican Food and Fair food along with the other restaurants in the area such as Luna's, House of JuJu, Roll Me Some and other goodies. I love the little girls Garden Booth and wanted to buy everything up from the little girl and her parent! They were so pleasant and nice. All my Princess Senses were tingling. They had performances going on and live bands and signing up for Raffles which I highly recommend which I did win a Raffle before coming to a different outdoor event so they are LEGIT! The Clovis Chambers, SPCA was there with Puppies, Republican and Democratic Parties and SUPPORT OUR POLICE when CLOVIS PD was there looking GOOD :D the dude and I couldn't stop staring haha it was fun. They have a Kids Zone filled with games, petting zoo, princess face painting and so much more! I would highly recommend giving Clovis Fest a try. I loved the music and performances and seeing all the young entrepreneurs and established booth owners and unique shops. Clothing, hats, food for days! It was hot dat so make sure you grab water, hat , sunscreen and a the many boba or shaved ice or ice cream places to cool off. Coming back tomorrow and planning on getting a new plant to add to Our garden. Totally fun, Family friendly event and did I tell you they have A TRAIN RIDE!!!! I highly recommend coming!!

Parking fills up quickly and people settle into the rodeo grounds early in the morning. The balloons take off after 7 and there are about 10 balloons total. One balloon stays behind to offer tethered rides. Pretty cool for only 10bucks a person. Across the street where the farmers market usually is in Clovis are tons of vendors. They sell everything from soap to food. All unique gifts to take home. The cutest thing this year was they had little kids selling their products. It was great to see young entrepreneurs. There is also plenty of delicious eats to chose from with all the great food trucks and restaurants in Clovis. So if you're ever free when they have Clovis fest again it's a must to come check things out.

It certainly is beginning to look a lot like christmas and its not even Thanksgiving yet, especially at the old town clovis with its exclusive once a year event known as "One Enchanted Evening" thats completely FREE of charge , this year it was on Nov 19th from 5pm to 8pm. This event feels like walking through the main street of Disneyland without leaking $150 of course Its almost like a best kept secret, since many people in the city of Fresno and Clovis seems unaware that it is an annual tradition that has been running for 12 years, even I was almost unaware of it, but thankfully my friend Dave reminded me. The old town Clovis transforms into a christmas galore with glitzy light luminously lighting its historic streets, christmas song's like mariah carey's 'all I want for christmas playing in the background, smell of hot chocolates in the air, lit horse drawn carriages making its headway down the street, and colorful and shiny christmas decor prominent everywhere, it certainly feels christmasy, warm and fuzzy. There is of course opportunity to visit the adorable antique stores and get the christmas shopping started. And not to forget is the classic collection of old cars from the early 1800 century to the late 1920's all parked on the street and ready for an Instagram moment. One Enchanted Evening is held exclusively by the participating businesses in Old Town Clovis who open their doors for hospitality and good cheer by offering complimentary drinks and mini snacks while we shopped through their amazing antiquities, engulf in their beautifully decorated display window, and walk through the beautifully lit streets of old town clovis lined with lights and christmas decorations . Its also the opportune time to enjoy a complimentary horse-drawn carriage ride through the beautifully decorated streets of Old Town Clovis and a time for me to drag my younger siblings here too, since I heard Santa would be here collecting data on who's naughty and nice. There was even carolers all dressed up in victorian styles clothing singing some christmas tunes. Parking was not much an issue for me, because there were plenty of Free street parking available. I would however advise future patrons to come as early as 5.30 am to enjoy the caroling, which I missed. The time spent here can be varied, but it took me about 30-45 minutes to slowly stroll, visit shops and sip some free hot chocolate and not to forget to bring the best cameras at home, because the sights and window set up is so beautiful and must be captured in photos before its all gone. Its an experience everyone should experience at least once a year !

They were back in Fresno for her 50th class reunion. After getting together with them, we parted ways with some of the afternoon still left. We'd wanted to check out the antique stores in Old Town. When we arrived, we came upon the Junk Days. Wow! So many vendors; so much cool stuff. Love the many re-purposed items, especially furniture. Was mentally trying to redecorate our house to see if we could fit in a new piece or two, and what we could part with to make room for something more fun. Most vendors are willing to make a deal, especially if you are buying multiple items, or it's getting later in the day. Would love to go back for the 2016 version.

We haven't gone to a festival since we were in graduate school at UC Berkeley and Stanford. It was beautiful! Being outside in nature, watching Canadian Honkers, various kinds of ducks and other birds fly was a real treat! The music was great! We loved observing children, young and older adults. Everyone brought their blankets, chairs and pillows. We felt like we were in the 70's again. Everyone looked beautiful. It was a really good vibe. The event was very organized and guided us through the different phases of the event. There were food stands and trucks as well as other places to buy merchandise from the festival. Approximately two or three thousand attendees attended the event. People were friendly and everyone interacted, took time to create their lanterns. Some played cards or drew pictures or wrote why the wanted to make a lantern. Lastly, the best part was to place your lanterns in the lake. A beautiful, peaceful place to gather together, express and interact and enjoy in a beautiful setting. Wonderful!

It did not feel as hot around 7pm. Parking was really hard to find. You really have to come early to get a closer parking, so walking was a bit of a distance. Check-in was easy and there was time set aside for people who wanted to share their story. They had food and shop vendors for this event. Definitely recommend wearing some tennis shoes because of the dirt area and a lot of grass area was already take for those that came super early. Would love to do this again next year and take my son next time.
