Don't judge this place from the road, it is awesome! One of the best pubs in the area. Great layout, lots of screens showing sports, great pub grub and friendly and fun staff who make an effort for you to feel welcome. Dining at the Steakhouse is delicious, really good food from a simple unpretentious menu, and lively on a Saturday night so make sure you book. Dining in the bar area is a comfy place, has a really good fireplace for the cold days, lots of space, and a great beer garden area for the warmer weather. General selection of beers on tap including White Rabbit, Squire's 150 lashes, Little Creatures etc, and a pretty simple but sufficient wine list including Prosecco, that's sure to accommodate most tastes. Parking is on premises and off-street if you need to leave your car, there is a bus stop on Ferntree Gully road though it is a walk, but no other public transport. Came here to watch the rugby, ended up staying the afternoon and then ate at the Steakhouse, so after just one visit I'm a fan. read more
