First time in Alicante and i'm in love with the city, people, vibes, and food . One of the best and you must to visit is this one . The staff, food , bar , vibe, clients , everything makes us feel welcome . Almost every day we needed to stop by for food or just to have a glass of wine and feels their vibe. Nazaret was our waitress all the time . We love her but let me tell you all her colleagues are fantastic.

This place is really worth the visit. Skip on the outdoor seating and come in here. There's only indoor seating here but the food is really worth it. Even better if you sit at the bar. It's really fun watching the cooks prep all the food. Also, as someone who is not a big fan of seafood, it was actually amazing here! A little bit on the pricier side, but really worth the visit! The waiters are super nice.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for paella and we were not disappointed! We were a little on the fence at first because there was not outside seating like most places in Alicante, but wow was this a great experience. The food was of course fantastic (we had basic paella and a huge plate of freshly carved jambon) as was the atmosphere. There were a lot of locals eating there and the while staff was friendly and helpful. It's a small space but we got there around 10 and were able to snag the last open seat.

The S.O. was in Spain for an Economics conference, so I got to come along for their farewell dinner at Nou Manolin. They ordered a standard tasting menu for everyone with 2 options for the entree (fish or lamb). Unfortunately, I don't think Spanish food is really my cup of tea and this experience was bit of a let down. I thought the small plates were pretty good, but the entrees fell below the mark for me. Tapas tapas tapas... Before the main entree, we were served a variety of tapas. We enjoyed the fried artichokes the most, followed by the pate. I've never really been a pate person, but I think they really nailed it here. I kept reaching for more. The artichokes were cut up in bite size pieces and were nice and crispy. We were also served squid sautéed in onions. The sautéed onion flavor was pretty strong, so make sure you like onion if you try this. This was pretty good for a seafood dish, but I'm not the biggest fan of cooked fish unless it's breaded or fried. Even then, I'm not a big fan of cooked fish period. Asparagus soup with egg and truffle was also served. The soup was solid, although not anything extraordinary. No one at my table could distinguish the truffle flavor in the soup. Now for the entrees... Fiance ordered the lamb and I ordered the fish. Fish was just average. It was cooked well, but lacking in flavors in my opinion. I was also underwhelmed by my fiancé's lamb and so was he, but I've never been into lamb either, so maybe you should just try it for yourself. I preferred the quinoa veggie medley that accompanied it. Dessert... I can't remember exactly what it was called. The concept it was self was a bit unique as in I haven't had anything like it before, but it wouldn't ever be my top choice for a dessert either. I think it was ice cream with nougats (chewy almost tofu-like texture squares). Overall, it was pretty good, but something I can live without. The restaurant interior itself was definitely on the nicer side and can accommodate larger groups, so I understand why they picked Nou Manolin for the dinner. Overall, the experience was alright, but I don't think we'd go back on our own. A lot of my dissatisfaction probably stems from the fact that I'm just not the type to like Spanish food, which focuses a lot on cured meats and cooked seafood it seems. If your like me and my fiancé, I suggest you try La Taberna Gourmet instead. Definitely the best food we had in the area and a bit more reasonably priced.

I joined this venue with my wife, business partner and parents - Service is NON EXCISTING I have been here before, and everything was worth a Michigan THIS TIME !!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A PLACE - where the service have been so bad - the waiters was rude, argued about our complaints. We asked for a manager Friday night (Not on duty???) tho the chef came out - and meet our needs and complains. Afterwards the waiter AVOIDED and was so ignorant to us.!! Our familiy have been living in grand alicant for 10 years - and a familiar to people who goes to STANDARD restaurants like "nou manulin" are branding them self's. last time a EVER visit this "service"

Whenever visit Alicante, I always come. Gambas de Roha, red shrimp, is one of the best foods in my life. This restaurant buys most of the best red shrimps in the market. I prefer to eat at counter, but occasionally, you can sit upstairs to have a long lunch

I started with a rice cake they call a soccorat (like the paella crust) topped with a tartare of the sweetest and freshest prawn. Superb! Next was a peeled whole tomato stuffed with a mousse of cured ventresca (tuna belly) and served atop a tomato soup like a creamy gazpacho. Another winning dish that takes familiar ingredients and through technique makes them special and elevated. The next tapa was a skewer with a single langoustine tail crusted with the Turkish strands you often find in middle eastern desserts. The langoustine tail was stuffed with a little portion of melted Brie cheese. So good. The last tapa was octopus pieces atop wonderfully browned potatoes that managed to be both crisp on the outside and meltingly tender inside. Superb. For dessert I took the server's recommendation and had the apple dessert, which was a sort of deconstructed apple tart that was the essence of apple. They comped me a generous shot or two of a beautiful local dessert wine. Service was gracious and helpful. The prices are treasonable for food of this quality. I really enjoyed my meal here!

We really enjoyed picking from the trays filled with little wooden boards, each offering something different. We made it our mission to try as many as possible, and we loved every single one! It's also awesome that everything is priced the same, which makes it super easy. We paired our meal with some refreshing tinto de verano, and it was perfect! The whole atmosphere was so much fun and interactive, especially counting the boards to see how many we devoured and figuring out the bill. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our time there truly unforgettable.
