We have found an alternate path for our return to the train station, so my advice is be alert and careful.

Safe was available as well a Mini Bar. Robes and slippers were provided. There is a restaurant and breakfast/Brunch was available. Although we didn't eat here, the restaurant was full during meal times. Two person elevator that is from another era but still worked and got the job done. The Fitness room/Spa area had Modern decor and is the part of the hotel that has been updated. A rare, both Steam and Dry Sauna rooms (2-3 people max capability) are included with an inviting relax area that was always kept clean and organized. An Amazing Wine Bar (La Tenuta)) and coffee shop (Christie's) just steps away and 15 minutes walk from the City Center. Yasside and the team took good care of us and gave us some great recommendations and tips. Extra star for their service minded and engaged approach. We will be back!

Incidentally, the co-op has some decent ready-to-eat food selections... so if you don't want a sit-down meal, it might be a good place to visit. Other than the hotel restaurant, there are only a few good places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel. Our room was spacious by European standards, and there was beautiful lighting, extra seating, and desk space. A room safe and minibar are part of the package. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed, with an expansive deep bathtub and wonderful large bath towels. The toiletries were a rather exclusive brand and had a great unisex scent. We only had breakfast in the restaurant, but it, too, was outstanding. Both buffet and menu selections were available. Servers were competent and sincerely nice. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Sarah. The hostess was wonderful as well. This hotel had many amenities that we didn't use, like a pool and sauna. I would stay the Ritz Carlton I walked by nearby next time but it was okay enough. They weren't super nice at check in when I told them that no, I was paying for the room and it should have been in my name. Pretty sure he rolled his eyes at me, even if not intentional. They also could not give change at the desk for USD/CHF, which is pretty standard at hotels in Europe. Aside from that and being less than impressed with how small the room was, even for EU, it was good enough but not anymore than 3 stars for me.

The shower was huge & had lots of great water pressure & equally great lemonny bath products Fridge, safe, free WiFi & there was a plate of fresh fruit with water, waiting on us when we entered the room as a welcome. Quiet floors and never heard a peep from the neighbors or the elevator ( we were positioned next to it ) Parking was 32 CHF but in comparison, our morning coffee in the city cost 31 CHF so at the end of the day, this was a bargain. And in case we hadn't have driven, they had day passes for public transportation and paper street maps ( if required ) Within easy walking distance to all the touristy spots like the FLower Clock, Jet d'Eau, the shopping district and Old Town Thanks for the luxurious accommodations and the most pleasantly placed location - Hôtel d'Allèves François d'Allèves is our definitely go-to hotel next time we're in Geneva!
