I asked for a further alteration. She said she would do this. I recieved a text saying my garment was ready for collection. When I went to fetch the dress she almost barked at me: ' your dress is not ready' after I had recieved a text from her saying it was. I then heard nothing for weeks and had to chase her for progress. When I finally went to collect the garment Carman claimed she had texted me about the cost of the final repair. I had recieved no such text. I showed her my phone showing I had had no text to this effect and she sort of mumbled. Won't use again the alterations were not terrible but the customer service was peculiar and the price on the high side.

Every single time the job was completed on time and the quality of work was of a high standard. I feel the service was personal and they really listened to what style I wanted with my jacket. I would continue to use Hidalgo Brothers for my alteration needs; high recommended. As I live in Cardiff and was unable to pick the jacket up after dropping it off - they actually posted my first jacket once it got altered. I received the jacket two weeks later and it was carefully packed in plastic wraps. The work done was perfect - sleeves were perfectly shorted from the shoulders. The second jacket again had sleeves shortened and fabrics removed from the waist. The third jacket had the sleeves lengthened. All were perfectly done and I am very happy.

When I looked uncertain about how much I needed them let out by, they got me to put them on and measured - and they were very much right. On top of that, when I asked for a (what I thought unreasonable) date for them to be ready, they not only said yes straight away, but the delivered. Been wearing the trousers for a few days now and they're working like a charm.
