While I prefer shopping online, it definitely pays to see something in person, especially with sneakers and shoes in general. Foot Locker always does pretty well with footwear and I like the range of women's shoes here. There are some awesome colours, some a little too adventurous for my taste, but still great to look at. I'm probably one to go to Foot Locker for a more casual shoe like the Chuck Taylor, but they do offer great quality athletic shoes in different brands, so there's lots to choose from. Foot Locker seems pretty limited in their clothing. They do excellent tees, and usually have good deals on these. However, as far as official team merchandise goes (NBA for example), there's not much on offer. They've got a handful of sportswear clothing for men and women but that's about it. It isn't the biggest Foot Locker store I've visited, so limited space could be the case. If you join the Foot Locker loyalty club you get 10% off every full-priced purchase, and any discount is a good discount. Really handy if you're a regular and just to have on hand when you need it. Foot Locker is awesome for footwear but I'd suggest elsewhere for clothing.

Most of the time they're a pretty good price and they do some great knock-offs of the more expensive styles people spend money on these days. In between the inexpensive styles and the understandably pricier Jeffrey Campbell lookalikes, are shoes that you could buy in other shoes stores for around the same price, but slightly better quality. The upside of No. 1 Shoes is that they do great deals occasionally, like getting a second pair for half price, with the added convenience of having shoes for every person of every age. I haven't seen anything in No. 1 Shoes that has struck me as a 'must-buy' lately, but it's a good alternative for those who don't want to spend too much on a pair of heels they won't wear more than a few times. The range here is huge and varies slightly between stores from what I've noticed; the range in Westfield has improved over the last few months too. It's a good stop for almost any shoe you're after, most notably their casual, school and work shoes.

Popped in to buy a pair of shoes. I was told that the pair I was after were not available...in New…read moreZealand. So I asked for another style of shoe which was available at another store. At this point I was told that if I would like the show brought over to the Manukau store, I would need to pay for them. This is a departure from the usual transfer of goods to the store closest to the customer. I was told that if the shoes did not fit, or if I did not like them I would be able to get a refund. So I asked for size 13 and was told that Overland doesn't stock size 13's. The customer service agent, didn't seem too enthusiastic about trying to make a sale. They also didn't try to come up with solutions to my need for a pair of comfortable work footwear and that was before I had asked for a size 13 shoe. None of the usual questions were asked of me, I was actually left to try to make a purchase rather than the sale being pitched at me. In my previous life I've worked in RL on New Bond St, EC1. A sales associate with such a lackadaisical approach would have been told to pull their socks up! Won't be going back to Overland.

Attention Kmart shoppers bargains to be had ! This Kmart…read moreisn't the tidiest it's more leaning towards organised chaos . Areas are divided and there are some great household items ! This is a definite stop for a refresh in your flat or apartment . Parking here can be a bitch , but don't let that stop you . Grab a donut from the dunkin store next door and praise America for sugared bread , cheap on-trend knick knacks and Jesus .
