Worst experience ever! Terrible customer service skills especially after one of their agents failed to communicate vital information. We literally did not know our interest rate until hours before closing. Would never recommend this company to anyone! read more

This is the worst mortgage company I have ever worked with! I gave them all of my information and they pulled my credit bureau, after which I was told that I would receive a phone call the following Monday(3days out). The persons Name was Matt Kelly. I never got a call back and it has been almost 3 weeks! I have called his phone at least 30 times and left voicemails with no call back. Then I was contacted by another person that worked for the company by the name of Breon. All I received was a text asking if I wanted to look at houses, no explanation as to why I was never contacted back by Matt. I tried to call him to talk with him and he will not answer any my phone calls either. The pull on my credit has dinged my credit and now I'm forced to find another mortgage company to work with. Most unprofessional company ever!! read more

One hour before our closing time, we received a call that because of an error on NRL's end, we would be forced to do a "dry close". This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing on their end because they knew about the events in action leading to the dry close for an entire week without communicating the possibility of a dry or swayed close to us as the buyers. Also, they directed us to Gina Maggio for insurance purposes and that was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They flat out stole $800 from me and caused a rack up of fines over $100 which I have had to threaten to get a lawyer for them to make any movement towards reimbursing. Again, every step of the way, my partner and I were timely, available and did everything expected of us and more--only to be let down and taken advantage of. If this was the last mortgage broker on the planet, you'd be better off renting for the rest of your life. They took away a joyous family moment from us and turned it into one of the most prolonged, disappointing and sour events of my entire life. Untrustworthy and at this level of financial investment, that alone should be enough to deter your business. read more

NRL Mortgage was founded in 2007 and the Cincinnati NRL Mortgage branch opened in August of 2013. On this occasion, I needed to get a check printed (because who has a checkbook anymore?). I popped in and was quickly greeted by the staff. The gentleman who helped me was super friendly. He pulled up my account via SSN (because who ever remember their bank account number?). There was a small fee for a single check printed, but it's totally worth it to occasionally pay that fee (I think it was $1.50) than for a checkbook i'll never use. There's a small parking lot here as well as a drive thru and atm. It's a great location if you live in Covington. I always pop by this atm when I need to pull out some cash before heading somewhere I'll need it. Great location and super friendly staff - high fives, PNC.

I get the same treatment from everyone each time i go in there, albeit seldom with todays digital and online world. Nonetheless, it's good to know genuine and friendly service can still be found today.

If you need a loan, Jeanne is THE best there is. She handled everything and she explained what was…read morehappening every step of the way, in terms that I could understand. She knows what she's doing and even told me what my monthly interest payments would be. She worked very closely with the underwriter and got me a Home Equity Line of Credit. I was able to give my ex-wife her share of the equity and I was able to keep my house. She has given me peace of mind and security that I needed to raise my daughter. She is a loan officer with a heart and will bend over backwards to get you a loan. I can't say nicer things about her, because her level of commitment to the process is better than any other loan officer I've contacted. She is top-notch and, to me, a genuinely good human being. She walked me through the process, step-by-step. She told me what she needed along the way and getting my loan was effortless on my part. If you need a loan, she is, hands-down, the best person you could choose. She's honest and empathetic and will do everything in her power to make sure you can get the money and stability you need.

I can not tell you anything about the interest rate they pay on savings accounts or CD's or many of their other services. My dad has a checking and savings account with U.S. Bank. What I can tell you is about the atmosphere and the service at this nice little Bank in Ft. Thomas. When my dad enters the branch he receives a warm and friendly greeting of "hello Mr. Meier." There is a Christmas tree in the lobby and my dad is waited on within a minute or so. His last transaction included both putting in money and getting a certified check for a family gift. It was completed quickly and concluded with "happy holidays." On a table in the lobby there is always a bowl of hard candy that I can not resist. This time of the year they have holiday trivia questions. Did you know that the song "Sleigh Ride" was written as a Thanksgiving song. I suggest that you check out this branch for friendly financial and banking services.

Big Thanks to Andy Dowdy and Team Dowdy, (Tyler and Stephanie). Hubby and I are not first time home buyers so we know to expect the mortgage loan process to be long and slow, we expect to be uninformed, not to receive callbacks and to close in about 45 to 60 days on a VA loan. We also expect our file to be lost and our closing to be delayed once. However, our experience with NRL was like nothing like we expected nor like any other loan process we have EVER experienced before. The NRL experience was SMOOTH, QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL. We were kept well-informed via NRL Reliable Email Updates, Stephanie, Tyler and Andy called or texted to check-in often. Andy Dowdy was my loan officer and he is absolutely amazing!! He was super proactive about setting expectations and Making sure I knew exactly what I needed to know throughout the entire process.
