They ruined two pairs of boots. After taking one pair in and this being ruined by a dodgy heel…read morebeing replaced I stupidly decided to take another pair in thinking that the first pair of boots were just a fluke. Not so. The same thing has happened, they've nailed the heel on at an angle and completely ruined them as they now cannot be repaired again. Both heels on both boots only lasted less than a month each. I complained to the Area Manager about the behaviour and language of one member of staff who offered a refund and apology but that doesn't fix my boots. Over the last 6 months the service has really gone downhill here and in future I'll be taking any further pairs of boots to Gasniers over the road. Not to be recommended at all for boot reheeling.

Gasniers hasn't changed much over the years, they've been in Shirley for years although only changed location when the new Sainsburys was built. The staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming. We popped in at Christmas to buy a shopping trolley and didn't receive much assistance at all. One lady can be blunt to the point of rudeness. They are usually fast to serve however and I've never really found a fault with their shoe repairs.
