What can I say. I'm a sucker for sweets. And even more so inclined when left to my own devices and rambling thoughts. I had already been seduced by the mystery that is known as Pinkberry. Nothing falls too short of the the recent FroYo marketing tree, so I felt encouraged to splurge on another dessert. This was even better because the smiling counter gal handed me a 30% coupon. Never mind we had to get into the car to travel what is known as a rather large mall complex. Apparently, people here don't really walk. Not too pedestrian friendly. I felt cheated of burning any possible calories. 8.2 oz of their original tart at .38 cents an oz. this came to $3.12. Included all the toppings. My faves from the previous evening: mocha pieces, white yogurt chips, strawberries, and fresh mangoes. After the discount, a pleasurable total of $2.18. Clean colorful interior. Nubi isn't a chain name like Yogurtland, Pinkberry, or Cherry on Top, but I am willing to forgo going to one of the more popular places to get some of Nubi's Dole Pineapple yogurt. Yeah, it's not Dole Whip -- but for Disneyland being 40+ miles away, this will definitely be good enough. Saturday night: 16 people getting their yogurt and in line to pay 20+ people sitting at tables inside 1 Nubi worker!?! The place was a disaster! We must have come in the middle of their big Saturday night rush. Probably one of the largest yogurt shops I've been in. Many great flavors including cupcake and cheesecake. Oh I love this place!!!! I'm not a huge fan of tart yogurt and have been turned off by a lot of places that serve it(Pinkberry, Yogurt Rave, Sweet Tart). They do have tart, but they're selection of flavors overall is outstanding! Like most of these places, you walk in and you get to create your own disaster. The best thing though is they are not huddled over you making sure you only take so much. You can have whatever you like for 38 cents an ounce. It goes up quick before you realize it, so it'll take you a try or two to figure out pricing. My favorite flavors are strawberry/banana that is non fat and sugar free, green tea and pistacio. Most of their flavors if not all are non fat. They usually have a seasonal one, like pumpkin pie, that I had yesterday that I thought was bomb! Another cool thing is that they have sample cups just sitting there and you don't have to ask for them. They're toppings range from pretty much any candy bar to all the fruit you want. I like the almonds(crushed or sliced to your desire) and blueberries. They have mochi, lynchee, and other Asian add ons too! Those damn cheesecake bites get me all the time! Just like Yogurtland and Menchi's. I sampled choc. Carmel turtle, watermelon, coffee, French toast, original tart, triple fudge choc. French toast was gross, it was like I was drinking maple syrup. The original tart was okay but I prefer pinkberrys. Watermelon I like but felt like a chocolate flavor kind of a day. So I indulged in a choc. Carmel turtle n coffee and a lil of the triple fudge choc. Yogurt with bananas, walnuts, graham cracker crumbs and captain crunch. This place has it all except for Mochi, which was a bummer. I still liked the yogurt and would come back. There was one cashier who seemed nice, appearance wise. If i could give any feedback about the service. I would say: the cashier should make an effort when customers come into the place and greet. Ive gone to a bunch of yogurt places and that seems to be a big thing when a customer enters. This is my FAVORITE yogurt shop in the UCR area. 1) Spacious seating 2) Cleanliness 3) Assorted variety of holiday flavors 4) They are the only shop that I can find lychee jelly around (except for Mumbles, but they closed ) It's not overcrowded with students and there isn't a crazy layout. The shopping center that it's located in is not sketchy. They don't have weird decorations and it's not lit like a brothel. They don't have loud blaring music. It's definitely a place where you can go and just get some yogurt and chat with friends. Their yogurt flavors are the best. I love their Dole pineapple. For the holidays, they have the pumpkin pie (YUM) and eggnog. The staff for the majority is helpful and polite. Would definitely come here over any of the other yogurt shops in the area. read more

Overall it is good. There are several flavors of yogurt to choose from. Gluten free, sugar free. You name it. We've been here a couple times in past. Today I tried pistachio, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio didn't have much flavor IMO, the chocolate was typical but the strawberry was delicious. (I enjoyed pineapple last time too). The toppings aren't all that great- the have "hot fudge and caramel" but neither were hot. Fruits weren't too well stocked- no strawberries. Lots of boba and sprinkles galore. They have lots of candy toppings but a lot of people want healthy options with FroYo. I do recommend that you get a coupon out of the Villa (or MV Guide)...there's buy two get one free or a percent off ur whole order. It makes coming here even sweeter. My kids like the "kiddie table and chairs". There is lots of seating available both tables and booth style. The restroom was disgusting. So plan to hold it. Stank like a locker room from high school. This is another clone of Yogurt-land. Same concept and methods with different interior colors and style. That being said it has the same flavors and a few different toppings. Its good for a try if you are in the area and want some frozen yogurt in a futuristic decor shop (it is clean and spacious when it is not crowed with customers). When they first opened I couldn't figure out what all the buzz was about a yogurt shop. We've had plenty of yogurt shops here in M.V over the years, they were never anything special. And then I went. It was yogurt shop heaven. Sooo many flavors to mix and match and all the toppings you could want. Since your serving yourself you can do any mix of yogurt combinations and toppings. I thought this was an awesome idea and really any yogurt shop who did this would be great. Not so! I've been to several similar style shops between Moreno Valley and LA and non of them compared to Nubi. Nubi has more flavors than most of the other shops and their yogurt just tastes better. This past Thanksgiving I was living there for their pumpkin pie. Over Christmas it was the eggnog. I can't wait to try the new Pina Colada flavor that they have for summer. read more

I went to Nubi when it was pretty new and walked away disappointed. I hate writing a negative review based on one bad experience, and boy am I glad I let cooler heads prevail - because our return visit was impressive. The store is large, clean, and has ample seating, and even though it attracts more UCR students than any other demographic, it doesn't make me feel quite as old as Yogurtland does. The decor is rather sedate, and not too memorable. But the yogurt flavors all but make up for it. When we last went - right around Xmas - they had some really unusual flavors like cucumber melon (I wasn't a fan), blueberry (pretty darned good, and I'm not usually a fan of blueberry-flavored things), and a good array of fruit flavors, regular flavors, and some holiday zing. The people working there were nice, and apologetic that they were out of normal sized cups. Everything was pretty great. If my husband didn't work so close to Cherry on Top (where he often picks up a froyo fix for me on the way home), I'd be here all the time. New fav. read more

I went here with my bf last week and we both though it was really good. He was excited because they had blueberry and he doesn't always find it when we go out for froyo. And I thought their tart was delish with a great consistency. They had tons of flavors on their wall and tons of dry and fruit toppings. The strawberries, pineapple and blueberries all tasted great but the bananas were pretty brown. Also, the girls in there were pretty rude but maybe they were just having a bad day. I went here last night for the first time and will gladly give it 5 stars. I liked the selection and layout SO much better than Yogurtland, and my apartment is pretty much smack dab in the middle of both of them, so this will be my new go-to. The selection of dry toppings seemed better, and they have whipped cream. Although the price seemed a little higher than YG, it's worth it for the options- cake batter, oreo cheesecake, French vanilla, etc. I was in a fruity mood last night so I had the black cherry Greek (yum) and pineapple sorbet- which DOES, in fact, taste like Disney's Dole whip! Nubi's Yogurt is pretty good and they usually have a good assortment of yogurt flavors and toppings. The only drawback is when a Mother walks in with a bunch of uncontrolled kids and they start opening the tops of all the toppings canisters and start sampling............and of course the Mother just watches them without saying a word.
