My Mom died and left me some money and I think the best way to honor her is to think about her every time I look in the mirror! So, I'd been thinking about going to Dr Zimmerman who was referred by a friend as the most skilled plastic surgeon in the area, for some other procedures. Then I broke my nose and that surgery will have to come first. Charlene was so kind when I called for my appointment and expediently sent by email the office paperwork so I could complete it before the appt. At the office I met Lynn the doctor's office and surgery assistant. She was amazing. She told me allot about their practice and the procedure I was being evaluated for, Rhinoplasty. Very kind! Both she and Charlene. Then the doctor came in and I could now see why they were so awesome - because HE is!! He never once spoke down to me. He explained the procedure but not is any frightening terms (like my healthplan - who were trying to scare me from even wanting something done) but was always gently, respectful, kind, explanatory. When the staff gave me the bid for this surgery, he told me he felt the insurance should be paying for this. Told me he knew someone he could call who might be able to see me and impart the importance of my needs to the healthplan! I ask you, Is that not the most amazing? What doctor is ever that caring and selfless these days? But, I would want Dr Zimmerman to do any plastic procedure on me, so I will try to get my healthplan to refer to him as the specialist in his field that NONE of their doctors are, so that he can do my surgery and get it paid for. I hope and pray this might work. As for you all reading this, go to Dr Zimmerman! He has excellent bedside manner. Hes been in the plastic surgery arena for many years and as such has the experience others don't and he thinks in terms of how your body will heal and how it will look when healed! It was a couples massage. My girlfriends was decent. With hundreds of massages under my belt, I feel this and this price. 90% of Asian massages at half the cost were twice as good. Never had this issue in places like Serenity Spa in Granite Bay or other Sacramento area establishments. It has been over a month and after a trip expensive trip to the ER and time, it is mostly feeling healed. It was Excessive Pressure. The owner offered an apology and had a conversation with the therapist about the incident she stated. No refund was ever given and all communication ceased. It is probably not worth contacting an attorney at this point. ($1600 ER bill) and many days of pain, but an expensive lesson. Higher priced massages does not necessarily equate to higher quality.
