What I got were two stale tostadas with dry chicken, cheese, and straight-up mustard. When I politely said I didn't order mustard, the staff insisted it was chimichurri. I'm Latina. I know what chimichurri is. This wasn't even close. The food was overpriced (€13-14 for two tiny tacos), flavorless, and poorly executed. The most insulting part wasn't the bad food -- it was the way they doubled down as if I wouldn't notice or didn't know better. While we were eating, multiple people came to our table asking for money, which the staff made no effort to discourage. The whole experience felt like a tourist trap banking on visitors not knowing authentic food or local dining etiquette. Valencia is full of incredible restaurants with fresh, authentic dishes and genuine service. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. If you value your money and respect, walk a few streets away and eat where the locals do. Just an easy option for breakfast at very reasonable prices. Service was kind too which can be more of a rarity in small cafes in Spain.

The staff was really nice and helped us well, even with a little bit of a language barrier. Overall, I was very impressed all 4 days we visited!

First visit sat outside and had a Majou. Tasty local Lager. I was curious about the Grand Mariner coffee. Turns out it doesn't have Grand Mariner in it and so an orange aromatic coffee. Strong with a hint of Orange. I liked it. Second visit I ended up sitting inside as this Hostess said you have to have a party of 4 to sit outside. Different Hostess new rules. So I took a seat inside and ordered a Cappuccino and the recommended Chocolate Rum Cake. Dense cake with just a hint of Rum-delicious. Capp was also tasty. They only sell their Agua de Valencia by the Jarra (pitcher) so I got a shot to try which was a nice touch. Similar to a Mimosa but less bubbles. Since they weren't as busy & tables were open I ended up moving outside for a Beer. Service was hit or miss and can be slow depending on how busy they are. Once they got to you it was fine. Good spot to enjoy cocktails and gaze at the eclectic decor.

Service was quick and friendly. The barista and the server were both male. My cafe con leche was very good. Scone with marmalade was very YUMMY! From observing the pastry case, you can see their specialty is cakes and desserts. Didn't try them but they look exquisite. They also have a location on the beach at Patacona so you have TWO opportunities to try La Mas Bonita!
