Our family loves this place. The owners are great. The location is on their farm. Some items are brought in also. The Thai food truck has some really great menu items that won't disappoint. Antie Nui has a beautiful spirit and loves children. There's lots to see and do here. Plenty of places to just sit back and enjoy a meal from the truck or just take in the scenery. Nui'S Garden is out of the way if you don't live up country, but the drive is scenic! It's a farm with a produce stand and a Thai food truck on the side of the road. I had the green curry chicken and my wife had the spring rolls with salad and fruit. Both were delicious. The green curry was just the right level of spicy and the vegetables and fruit were fresh. They also had Hawaiian food which we will try next time. Seating is outside and pleasant. There were several picnic tables. They have the spice right. The peanut sauce is fantastic, no question. Stop here if you want to wait over 30 minutes for overpriced food. Are you a vegetarian? Good news, you can buy a veggie curry bowl for a lot of money that is mostly rice and a sauce with only pumpkin with hair in it. Why 30 minutes for a small order? Because they have given our food away to someone else/switched our orders on 3 seperate occassions. We are done giving it the benefit of the doubt. read more

Great food, great service. I've eaten a lot of Thai food in my life and this is certainly one of the best places. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, excellent seasoning, beautiful presentation (absolutely perfectly ripe and colorful fruit and vegetable garnishes), ample portions. The price was good to begin with, but the value even more excellent because we got a second meal from the leftovers of our order. My husband and I passed by this place every day while we were in Maui. His favorite thing to get was a smoothie made by Oakley. It was always different every time (which was a plus). We stopped by a few months back because I LOVE Thai food and this truck is close to our home. I'm VERY allergic to shrimp, so when I started asking, "Does the chicken pad Thai have shrimp or cooked in the same pan as shrimp?" Yes. "How about the vegetable curry?", Yes. After three or so items on the menu, the gentleman told me everything had shrimp as a base, so if you are allergic or vegetarian, don't go here. Vegetarian dishes must not actually be vegetarian, or they use the same pan over and over. We had no choice but to leave. This has never happened to me before anywhere else. read more

Nui"s is a gem on the way to the mountain top. We stopped by this little farm to table food truck by pure accident. Had an amazing aptly named Heavenly pork and Jasmine rice. Tender pork with this savory sauce that inundates the rice, we gobbled this down with another great dish of Ono curry. The have a funky and shady outdoor dining area out back that over looks the farm. If you are near by you need to check it out Delish! read more

THIS FOOD TRUCK IS AMAZING!!!! My father ordered noodles for me and the food was amazing. They give you so much food in a averaged size container that i didnt get to finish the food so i saved it for later and it was amazing. The carrots are cut up into cute shapes too. Also their peanut dressing is the BEST dressing ive ever had in my LIFE. I had extra dressing left over so i would put it on fresh fruit and salads. A hidden gem on the way to Haleakala. While you are waiting for your food, you can visit the farmers market. We ordered the fried rice, the chicken satay, the chicken green curry and the tom kha kai. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. The tom kha kai was pretty different from the one I am used to though. Would definitely come back if I am in Maui again. read more

Best (only) Food Truck upcountry. The Pork Heaven is excellent and, when available, Green Papaya Salad is terrific. Also, a choice of Brown or Jasmine Rice, not lumpy white rice. Great little food truck upcountry. It might be the only one upcountry. I had the vegetable curry and it was very good. The farm is even better. If you have a chance, order the food, then take a walk about on the acreage of farm then stop by the farm store in the same lot and buy some vegetables from Nui. She is always friendly and helpful. Some of the best chicken curry I have ever had. Very reasonably priced. You sit at a table next to a papaya tree and tomato plants. Super laid back, the staff are friendly, and you are conveniently next to the farmers market where you can pick up fresh ingredients for your home cooking. Amazing! We were driving up Haleakala, starving, and knowing there would be no food anywhere further up the road. Cue Yelp, and cue this farm food truck! I had the vegetarian red curry and it was amazing. So many veggies, so flavorful, and a huge portion. It was the perfect thing to fortify us for a trip up the mountain. We didn't have to wait long, there is tables and chair out back, but the mosquitoes were out in force so we ate in the car. Went for the first time today. We had the chicken satay special and the vegetable curry. The satay was gorgeous. Really fresh and eye catching with just a hint of spice. The curry was the star, though.... Rich and tasty with big chunks of tender in season squash. There is a picnic area behind with lovely plants surrounding. The only thing that kept this from being a five star rating for me was the really dirty tablecloths on some of the tables. Better to just leave them uncovered. read more

I only gave the restaurant a five out of five because I could not give it any higher. The food at Nui's Garden Kitchen is superb. Their food is super fresh and some of the best I have eaten while on Maui. In fact, my family and I came here three times on our 10 day trip to Maui. Our favorite dishes were the chicken curry, the tom yum, and the fresh summer rolls. However everything on the menu is good with many vegetarian options as well. The service is also very good. The people there are very nice. In addition to the very good food and outstanding service there is also a very nice farm/garden behind the truck that you can sit in and enjoy the piping hot food. Overall a very good experience. I would recommend Nui's Garden Kitchen to anybody who goes to Maui. read more

The best Thai food we found on the island of Maui, and it is from a little food trailer. The owner has the food trailer, caters when she is not open and runs the little farm and produce immediately behind the trailer. The price is very reasonable for island vacation sites and good portions. If you are going 'up-country' or to Haleakala, you just have to stop and try it. No fancy seating or wait staff after you get the food, but with food this good, a scenic setting in the garden and all that Maui sun, who needs it. read more

Doesn't even deserve one star. I've always heard great things about this place, so i gave it a shot, BIG MISTAKE.... it tasted strange, had an odd aftertaste and strange consistency. That was the good part, the bad part, running straight for the restroom after 10 minutes and being stuck in there for next few hours with a bubbly, rumbling stomach...and I paid $30 for this! I ordered the pad thai noodles, fried spring rolls (that i spit out) and the chicken fried rice. NEVER AGAIN! read more
