I normally come here to have my eyebrows waxed and I've never had a problem until the last two times. The last incident was just unacceptable. I walked in and told them I need my eyebrows waxed on a Tuesday (it wasn't that busy) she was on the phone with someone saying they can come now for a pedicure around 1130 but told me I needed to come back the NEXT DAY for my eyebrows waxed. 30 min service on the way vs a quick maybe 5/10 min service that was already there. Hire more people that wax eyebrows but I won't be going back because that's slack customer service, like seriously. read more

I visited this nail salon because of the pictures of nail designs on their Instagram page. My first visit to the nail salon Kelly, the owner, gave me her telephone number and told me to text to schedule my appointments. She also said to text the pictures of the designs that I wanted and she would provide the cost of the designs. She never mentioned that she is the only skilled nail design tech in her salon. On the companies Instagram account ONLY pictures of nails with designs are posted as if that's what customers can expect if they visit the nail salon. However, the truth is that the other nail techs can't do the same designs that are posted on the Instagram page. That's false advertising! The other nail techs are fine if you don't want designs and a great nail shape. However, I became a frequent customer, tipped, referred others, and paid whatever the cost to get nail designs done by Kelly. Like I said, she's truly the only skilled nail tech and the other nail techs are limited when it comes to nail designs. Even though the companies social media platforms lure you in with the 100's of nail design pictures that basically only one nail tech can do, Kelly. Kelly begins to push me off to the other nail techs stating that she's either booked or not working very much in the salon. I was patient and allowed the other nail techs to do my nails in hopes that Kelly would be available next time. My nail results were hit and miss when being done by the other nail techs. Or, I'd have to deviate from what I really wanted, and Kelly could do, to a simpler design that the other nail techs were capable of. I only spoke to Kelly about my dissatisfaction with my nails 1 time because the other nail tech screwed them up so terribly. I remained professional and advised Kelly that I wanted her to do my nails as I wanted what is being advertised on her companies social media platforms. I even said that I was willing to wait for her to become available. The very next time that I texted Kelly to schedule a nail appointment, she responded by texting "hi i am currently not working steady , but non of my nails tech can please you.... i would let you try somewhere else ... i am sorry about that...!" I was appalled at the unprofessional response and the lie! It had nothing to do with the other nail techs. It was about receiving the nail designs that are advertised online. I also find it odd that Kelly repeatedly says she's not working much but the nail designs that only she can do are frequently being posted on the companies social media platforms. I'm not sure how Kelly decides which customers she has time for and which customers she doesn't have time for. She should have time for polite, paying, tipping, and frequent customers such as myself. Don't be lured in by the nice photos on the companies social media platforms. They're used to get you in the door and then you are passed off to a less skilled nail tech. Or, maybe you'll make the cut depending on whatever process Kelly uses to decide which customers are deserving of her nail designs and which are not. Good luck! read more

Always get my nails done in a timely manner and every employee is really nice. Very clean!

Do not waste your money! I went because it was located near my local business and thought it would be convenient, I will drive out my way to avoid using this horrible business practices. The owner is rude and she backs up her employees that do a horrible job. Tried them 2 times and both times my nails chipped and the gel polish wore off after 3-4 days. Overpriced with no glitz or glam. Don't offer customers drinks or give you a chance to tell them what service you want or pick a color. You can tell they are solely about getting as many customers in as soon as possible and not focused on building customer loyalty. I constantly had to tell the nail tech to slow down because she was making my service unpleasant . I get my toes done every month or so, but not usually in Summerville. I would have passed this place by, but it was convenient to what I was doing at the time. So glad I stopped! This is the best pedi I've had maybe ever! In the age when they dip your foot in a water spa and then basically start polishing your nails, #1 Nail ACTUALLY does pedis. Their options range from $12 to $45... I got. $29 deluxe pedi and my feet were pampered with a salt scrub, 2 massages, menthol gel, hot towels and more. Citified trimmed, nails shaped... The works! This is by far the worst nail salon in Summerville. The are in a hurry to get your money. A fill in and a pedicure took less than an hour to complete. It didn't look like the cuticles on my toes has even touched. Bad service. The foot baths smell like backed up sewage. read more

DO NOT NOT BOTHER! TERRIBLE SERVICE! "Tyler" did my pedicure and when asked to cool the boiling water he set, he got an attitude. He took his time on purpose because they were not busy at first but when people began coming he tried to rush the job. I initially picked a light color and wanted white polish under it so my color would pop, my decision was questioned and when I stood firm, more attitude. I asked for a polish change and Tyler for even more upset. Note that he begun painting my toenails but when I changed to white polish he had more work to do and went back to pushing back my cuticles before applying the white paint. I asked why was he all set with the other color but now that it's white he felt the need to double back and all of a sudden he had to facetime someone. When handling my feet and talking about me on facetime, Tyler was aggressive and forceful with my feet, pushing then down after looking them over. I stood firm again and snatched my foot back and asked him if he wanted to remain professional. No answer. Service improved slightly as he discussed what he was doing with pushing my cuticles back and checking for ingrown toenails. Tyler lastly attempted to overcharge me at the end. I disputed a "polish take off" charge, using their price list to support my stance and paid what I actually owed. He's really full of shit. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Especially, if you work hard for your money, they should work hard (or at least do a fine and pleasant job) for it too. read more

so me and my daugther have been coming here for 5 months, and loved autumn and the work she did , but watch out for her, in the 5 months we have been clients of hers , we had to cancel twice the last 3 weeks ..the 1st on was 12/9/19 bc on that morning at 1:30am I got a call from my family saying we had to get to ga bc my dad has cancer and was dying , well he came first ...then in 12/20/19 , I am disabled and cant drive at the moment so my daugther has to drive and that day she had to stay til 1am for work bc its xmas, now as soon as I found out both times I texted her right away and told her ..now everytime we go in there we spend almost 400 dollars every month ..so I asked to make our appt for this friday bc my daugther has off , she tells me she wants a deposit or we can't make appt on friday , to make it on weekday , ok no problem ..right after she gave us times , she texted and said she was refusing us service , then called me a liar that we dont spend that much , to bad I have receipts..but still called me a liar that we spend 265 , not true ...I get a 65 dollar pedi with gel polish that is 25 extra , then a new set of nails almost every time bc I love my designs , that is almost 175 right there , bc they charge for taking off old nails, then the acrylic , the charge for design , then anything that goes on extra , then they charge for shape too, then I get eye brows done which is 12 ...now that is way more alone then 265 then add my daugther too ...it turns into 360 or 380 ...its sad when life happens and bad things happen and they dont respect you as clients, I know there time is valuable but emergencies and bad things happen you shouldn't punish people , this tells me that they dont need my money and that we are just a number to them ..please dont go here ..what she did is not right at all ...font let this happen to you .....I have been doing my nails for 25 years and before I moved here I went to same lady for over 11 years , and she would say I'm not a bad customer in fact she would say I'm a great client and friend ,bc we have respect for each other ...this wasnt about money this was about that fact that I canceld on a monday and then a friday , so was only one day on weekend , and I never questioned you when I paid all that money ...so you can say what you want , you refusing to see us agian after 5 months bc I had to cancel is bad for your business!! Terrible service, experience. The woman who did my nails was nice enough but work was sloppy. That however, didn't bother me as much as the attitude of the owner/manager did. He was slumped down on a couch with a girlfriend surfing on his phone and was too busy to be bothered to make change when I was trying to pay. The woman asked him for change and he did not even look up for a full minute. He then slowly makes his way over to me and, clearly irritated at having to function, pulls wadded up dollar bills out of a pocket setting them on the counter and walks away. Stunning. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Went in for a simple acrylic fill with gel polish. I was in the salon for FIFTY minutes. The guy who did my nails completed messed up my shape, which was perfect when I came in (I asked to keep it the same). He was also filing with an EXTREMELY overused file and he sliced my finger very deeply. I told him TWICE before he cut me that he needed to use a different file but he refused to listen. Once he cut me and completely botched the shape (almond) he asked for someone else to do the shape. His wife then came over, reshaped my nails, and reprimanded her husband for using the old file. She looked at me and said "my husband is still learning and will be better next time". Unacceptable, there will be no next time. My nails are lumpy and the gel polish is coming off after just a few days. Best part of all...they charged me $50 for the service, yes, $50 for a plain old fill!!!! These were my birthday nails and I literally cried when I got in the car. I moved here from California where I was in and out for a fill in 30 mins for $30. I was one of only two people in the salon and the rest of the workers were lounging in the pedicure chairs, on their phones, singing out loud, and eating food right next to me with thwir mouths open. This place is awful. If you are an avid acrylic wearer seek a more experienced and professional salon. read more

Had new nail tech do a fill... now I get that everyone deserves a chance and everyone has to learn how to do things. BUT he watched tv the whole time, did not thin or file my existing acrylic before adding more to the fill in area. He finally thinned when I said they were too thick. He said something to the owner, who got nasty with me asking rudely how can I help you. (I'm sorry he's working under your emolument ) I told her what I asked for she said it's how your nail grows. I showed her the acrylic was too think. After that said they'd try it... he rudely grabbed my hand to fix it and shoved it back. Asking if that was better. Never washed my hands until they were all painted, I asked to and he said no at the end. Never heard of that before. Before I started owner said let me see your nails. Asked what I wanted, I told her and she gave me a price for my nails. When I checked out I was charged an additional $3 to cut down regrowth!? I almost lost it. I walked out shortly called them when I felt more calm so i didn't yell. I asked for the owner and said I was upset with my visit... starting with the fact that I got charged for cutting down regrowth. She said I put it in my brochure... and while yes maybe you do who thinks trimming down regrowth is a charge? My nails are always short I don't have a lot to cut down. She told me every time you get a trim down with any acrylic it's a charge and said she told me before we started. She got very rude on the phone as well. There's no way I was told that before bc I never would've agreed to that. That's nickel and diming at its worst! And not right! I am choosing not to go back there and will share my story. I was in need of an eyebrow wax last night they closed at 7 and I got there at 7:25. I called from the parking lot and the very nice lady Karen told me I could come and get my brows done. I decided to go to this nail salon because of the previous review. Big mistake. They do not sanitize their tools and the lady that was doing my pedicure missed and scrubbed the back of my heel instead of on the bottom of my foot and made my foot bleed. I would not recommend this place. read more
