As a new mother, deciding on a child care provider for my daughter when it was time to go back to work was one of the most difficult decisions. I could not be happier with our choice of Highland's Park Community Bridges. She receives the highest quality of care and they provide a very nurturing environment filled with unique and age-appropriate educational experiences that I could not provide at home. Most importantly, she is so happy to be there! All of the staff are friendly and professional and I am grateful for all of the support and communication they provide to us as parents. The Site Supervisor, Roxy is so compassionate, professional, and understanding. She really listens to families and children equally well. She is always thinking of new ways to engage the children and help them to thrive. I feel like we are part of a community, and I look forward to watching her grow and develop at this center for years to come, while our family is building connections with other children and local families.

Grateful to Miss Anna, she accomadated my daughter when we urgently needed childcare. She is also knowleadgeable and observant, made me comfortable as a mom who was anxious to let go of my daughter. My family felt the assurance that my daughter would be safe and in good hands while she is busy learning, playing while socializing. My daughter is always excited to go to school. In the future, we will choose this school again for my younger daughter.

When I was looking into other schools, we would get rejections due to my daughter not being fully potty trained at the time. When I found One World, they were able to take her in. Long story: Little Star Preschool Too was my top choice from the beginning when I was touring preschools. I was delighted to see the campus (plenty of parking spots, quiet neighborhood, residential location and close to restaurants for afterschool pick up)! The preschool is large and has a huge yard for the children to play in during "recess" and at the end of the day. I think the actual amount of land they have for a school is impressive as the children are able to get their wiggles out without having to travel to a local park. While I was dazzled by the tour of the campus, I was absolutely amazed by the teachers and staff! They are all genuinely loving and greatly care about the well-being of the children! I am always greeted with a smile by each of the staff members during drop off. My child has so much fun playing with her peers and the large variety of toys, doing daily arts and crafts, eating their provided lunch and learning new subjects! She took a little bit of time to warm up to being in school and her teacher was so patient with her, spending extra time with her to help her transition. Other teachers and staff would step in to help out too if her teacher was not immediately available for help. Not only does the school teach "regular subjects" like letter recognition and counting, they also teach real life skills like what streetlights and stop signs are used for! (The school had a cute field trip around the neighborhood teaching the children about road safety). There are also a lot of extra features added to the curriculum to help enrich the children's education. There were dance performances, field trips, readings from books regarding different cultural festivals and traditions. The school is just so awesome and I am very happy with my choice. Thumbs up!

I chose Little Star Preschool for my toddler for many reasons:…read more- Full day care (dropoff as early as 7:30 a.m., though the school day starts shortly after 9 a.m.; pickup by 5:30 p.m.) and instruction is year-round. - Mid-year entry (my son started in January) - A large play yard and clean, bright indoor spaces - Meals and snacks are included (you send your kid with a lunchbox with sides, and they provide the main dish) Most importantly, my toddler is pretty shy around new people and slow to warm. I appreciated that Little Star Preschool encouraged multiple playdate visits before he officially started, so that he could get used to the space and staff. All of the teachers were kind, patient, and gentle with him as he transitioned from a small daycare to preschool. They allowed him time to adjust and let him just observe at first, as he preferred, while holding onto his stuffy. His language skills have really exploded (I love hearing him repeat, "Wake up, little bodies!") and I know he's cared for while learning and playing.

We had inquired at several preschools for our son - ended up on the waitlist for some, one never even responded back to me, and others just didn't quite fit our budget or our schedule, which in the end worked out perfectly for us. When we moved to the border of Sunnyvale and Mountain View, I started my search again and through Yelp, found Community First School. When I first inquired, there was waitlist for my son's age. But by the time I finally was able to take tour, fortunately a couple spots had opened up. We love this school and most importantly, our son LOVES this school. Every day, he comes home talking about what he learned that day (we don't even have to ask). He gets fed, he's made a bunch of friends, gets plenty of outside time, and we never have to worry about him. One of the best parts of this school is an app that they utilize to keep us informed of what the kids have done during the day. Also, communication between the school and the parents is awesome! If you are fortunate enough to be able to send your kid(s) here, I would recommend not to hesitate. My only regret is that I wish I sent him here sooner!
