The 5:30 pm Sunday mass in particular is a good option that I wish more parishes had. One thing to note is the architectural style of the church is a bit divisive. It has a metal roof and glass making up part of two walls. For some this may come off for a bit industrial. Others may find it very open and inviting. Either way it is something different from may of the churches in the area.

The homilies last forever and have little to no purpose nor are they thought provoking. Also, the church is cold. I don't just mean temperature wise. Something about this church is actually cold feeling. The stained glass isn't all that impressive, there's cold linoleum flooring, the decor is cold, the music is rigid, the greeters seem rigid. It's just....cold. I know it's Catholic and I basically just reiterated many of the things that most Catholics in their 20's complain about, but this place seems to be the embodiment of all things cold and Catholic. Not a good thing at all...but hey, if that's the sort of Catholic you are into, maybe you will like it here.

I especially liked the Sacred and Immaculate Heart windows. One of my favorite pieces was the baptismal font that depicts Jesus and John the Baptist. I also loved the details of the statues around the ambo. The Pieta was lifesize. There is also a Lourdes grotto out front which was awesome to see as it is my favorite place I've traveled and brought back many good memories.
