Decided to go with Nutrisystem during their "1/2 off" sale. Half off of what?? A nebulous number over 500 dollars that you never see in the add. I actually thought I'd get a deal, but there was no difference in price. When the frozen food had been delivered, no one alerted me and it sat there for 24 hours. Sheesh! Did I mention the food is terrible? And if you cancel after the first 14 days, they'll charge you 125 dollars for the "free" shipping you got! Red flags all over the place. I had to hunt for a real person to cancel my account. I got my money back. They of course said keep the frozen food (Gee, thanks). I posted the cancellation phone number on Facebook. read more

The food was not good. over seasoned and mushy. When I quit after one month as the food is not edible (by me) they tell me it is a $120.00 fee to quit before 2 months. The second month would be $350. Don't join. Avoid this like the plaque. very deceptive. Unethical. read more

Dishonest company. If you cancel before your second or third expensive ($450) shipment, they charge you all the money you saved on the first shipment. Also, the money back guarantee is only good if you return it within 14 days and send all the products back. Not practical. Food is terrrible and there's not nearly enough to function properly. Cancelling is a nightmare as you have to talk to a pushy salesman. I would not recommend Nutrisystem. read more

I really tried to stick with the program however the food is the same thing in every package. Macaroni and some weird red or yellow sauce that if you close your eyes is the same. The customer service I found was great, however the food is not worth the price. If you can eat macaroni every day, go for it. read more

NUTRISYSTEM ON-LINE REVIEW: I joined in September on line and decided its not for me...just called the 1-800 number for Nutrisystem and said, "please DO NOT SEND my auto-renewal monthly order the 28th of this month". The phone rep said' "That'll be $125 (or $150?) cancel charge because when you signed up you committed to 2 on line orders before you can quit. I said no way! Those orders are $374 each and I am not continuing the plan. The rep said the best they can do is delay the next order for $374 for three months... Watch out for the automatic ordering for nutrisystem. It is hidden in the terms and agreement section of the contract. I thought I was only ordering one months worth and then found out that they automatically signed me up for the next month. In order to cancel the order I had to pay a $92 cancellation fee. program was great as long as they send what u order!! last shipment had 28 items that i did not order. i repeatedly did 'chat' to tell them to either stop substituting.... or if they must substitute, they should substitute with items i regularly order .... i hate pepperonii !!! ... they repeatly sent such items. they continued this practice for months. even at $4-$5 per item they would still have me as a customer if they complied with my requests for this reason i can not recommend nutrisystem! read more
