What a great experience. First time visiting this store location on Newbury Street and was amazed at the variety of nuts and Dubai chocolates at this location. I got another bag of coated almonds and cashews and since it was still a bit hot and humid in. Latin during June I hurriedly took my purchase back to my hotels so that the nuts stayed fresh and didn't melt. Staff was constantly refilling candy and nuts and they were nice and offered some recommendations. Even got to try a few samples. Overall great experience. Indoor ambiance was nice and inviting. This is such a fun and cool store with a variety of nuts, candies, and chips! I love that there is so many options. For the nuts for example, you can get different nuts in variety of flavors like spicy cashews, bbq pistachio, or everything cashew. If you want to switch it up, there are Dubai hazelnuts and pistachio covered macadamia which tasted amazing. They have different gift sets where you can fill the set with 6 or more varieties of nuts, candies, dried fruits, and chips. The set up here is very similar with all the nuts, chocolates, and candies readily available for to-go. You can do it by weight or get the prepackaged version of each good... think you can mix & match? For the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries they have the strawberries already in the cup and then they add the kataifi + chocolate of choice (milk or dark) when you order. This is a family owned business and they make attempts to source everything locally from America, so there, by buying here you don't just "Eat good, Feel good", you also eat Local and feel patriotic ;). We got a bag of candied pralines after tasting them in the store. Didn't want too sweet and these were just right. Added a bag of dark chocolate with sea salt covered almonds, this was interesting ... For a short stop over tried quite a few samplers and enjoyed each one of them. They have the best dubai chocolate strawberry cups out there. The chocolate is decadent, the pistachio cream is just right and the kataifi was so crispy it made for the perfect combination. They are also heavy handed with the toppings and FILL the cup with your choice of white, dark or milk chocolate. YUM!! The only thing that's annoying is that you have to know to pay at the register at the front of the store before fighting your way through all the people to the very back of the store where they are making the cups. I made the mistake of going to the back first, and was redirected back up front to stand in a long line at the register to pay first. read more

What I will say is while these can keep for a few days, I wouldn't push it. The bar i saved for myself started leaking oil from the pistachio cream inside after a week from purchase. A lot of nuts! Friendly service. Went in right before the crowd came, so I was the only one in there which was nice (around 11:30am). Had to get the viral Strawberry Dubai Cup and Dubai chocolate bar. Approx prices: the cup was $18, the bar was $16, I also got some dubai chocolate dates to try for $15, and then a mango ice cream popsicle for $11. Spent about $60 dollars on the trip, so not for the faint of heart! But I can spin the chocolate wheel since I purchased over $50 of dubai chocolate and scored a free bag of nuts, which surprisingly turned out to be my favorite. The trip was expensive, but there is a lot of variety and everything is fresh, so worth the trip esp if dropping by for a souvenir. As for taste, I personally think dubai chocolate is a bit too sweet for me and I was expecting more pistachio taste, but I really liked the tahini crunch and thr strawberries were so sweet and yummy.. I was a bit annoyed though that the shop doesn't answer phone calls and isn't accommodating to customer needs, like providing large bags with handles to make carrying easier. But, I read an older review that the shop is family owned, so I can understand why their customer service was limited. I came from Virginia I tried 5 times to get it in the only shop that sales it in VA. Let me say it failed all 5 times. I came to Boston to visit. I just happened to see the sign outside I did not even think twice if to check if they had it. They did I took 3 not considering I might not even like it. Let me just say this chocolate was thick. No words for the amount of love I felt in the moment. As I leave back to VA I take them with me. The service was awful. There was a lady taking orders swearing at people, she refused to change people's orders, and also made sure to tell me to "not do that shit" when referring to changing my order. Before I even got the food I felt I was having a bad experience. She kept rolling her eyes and mumbling under her breath, and then when she wasn't speaking with customers she was on her phone. The food was amazing, the people making the food were so kind and hardworking and actually put time and effort into their creations, except the lady taking orders at the front ruined it for everyone. I genuinely hope she loses her job because she's too cocky to work at a chocolate factory and swear at people. I let her know how she treated the kid in front of me was disrespectful and she made sure to let me know that she's not the problem, isn't wrong, and the kid needs to learn manners.
