I really wanted to like this place. The staff is really friendly. Decor inside is older, has an country vibe complete with a truck inside. The food is not cheap, everything comes separate. I ordered a strawberry lemonade, chocolate shake, onion rings, and a chicken club. The drinks were delicious! The lemonade was tangy and refreshing, the shake thick and creamy. The onion rings were burnt and too greasy, I'd give them a 2/5. The chicken sandwich was okay, not good or bad. Legit just ate it and not memorable enough to describe further. I'd come back for a shake but I'd personally skip the food. My food was a little over 30 dollars for everything. Value is not there. Cute place overall! read more

I'm vegetarian 80% of the time, but I would eat meat any day if it meant taking a bite out of the delicious burgers they are serving up at Nutty's! Our friends told us to stop in here if we were ever in the area, and we were truly not disappointed! I had the basic burger and fries. The meat was perfect, hand formed with a nice piece of cheese and fresh lettuce, tomato and some pickles. It's a walk up window indoors with a whole bunch of friendly service workers. Since it was cold out I really appreciate the overhead heaters! read more

Just YES! Yeeeesssss! The fish & chips, the banana milkshake; absolutely scrumptious!!! Stopped here for some grub on the way back from North Cascades National Park. Did not expect to be blown away by the food here, but damn was it good! The space is like an old junkyard turned restaurant and there are all kinds of antiques lined up inside from vintage gasoline pumps to old roadway signs. Super creative vintage decor that's fun to admire. There was a short line when I got there but it seemed to move pretty quickly. Their menu consists mainly of burgers and sandwiches. I saw that they had fish & chips on the menu and decided to go for the latter. The fish and chips comes in two sizes (quarter pound and half pound). Since it wasn't too sure if a quarter pound would be too much or too little, I asked the guy at the register if he thought it would be filling enough. He just gave me a blank stare and said that it was my choice. Didn't offer any suggestions at all, so I just went for the quarter pound. Despite the apparent lethargy from the cashier, the fish and chips tasted spectacular and the quarter pound size was perfect for my appetite. The fish was nicely battered with a light but very appealing flavor. The batter was crispy and the fish was super flaky. They also provided a pretty meaty I piece which I loved. I really enjoyed the chips (fries) too. They were thick and hand cut, similar to that of Five Guys but without all of the grease. And they loaded up on them fries too. I can never say no to extra carbs, especially when it's in potato form. The star of the show was definitely the banana milkshake. It was sooo friggin' amazing! Rich and hearty. I can tell that they use real bananas because the banana flavor was enjoyably potent. Plus, it was thick and creamy that's how a great shake could be. Food-wise, this place is dominating no doubt. I can see why it's so popular with the crowds. Would absolutely come back here again for another meal while in the area. The chicken had flavor, by that I mean it was seasoned not like some places that don't actually season the breast and just throw it on the grill then hope for something good to happen (it rarely does). Let me start by saying that I love love love the retro vibe of this place. It's unique and yet feels super classic at the same time. The Green Torino is one of the better burgers you'll have. The peppers add just the right amount of spice, and then you can cool it down with a classic bottled soda, a fountain drink, or my go to a chocolate banana shake. We stopped in for lunch and found the place packed. Parking was tight and the lot is small. The burgers have kitschy names and my double barrel, while it sounds like it might be two Pattie's it isn't! Basically it is a deluxe cheeseburger but, with high quality ingredients. The burger itself was great! The special sauce had a slight BBQ sauce flavor but not overpowering like most sauces. I don't care much for BBQ sauces and still liked this. First time in, definitely not the last! I got the trunk junk burger. This is a wet burger so bring gloves and a bib because you're gonna wanna tuck into this monster! Carmelized onions and grilled mushroom make this a worthy burger adversary, I didn't make it all the through. The fries are fresh and good. I like a crispier outside, but these fresh cut fries are a good sidekick to the burger. Limited fountain drink choices but root beer is a burger ingredient (well it should be!!) so all is well. Food missed the mark! Onion rings were soaked in oil, over cooked to the point the batter was very dark brown to burnt. Fries were soggy and oily. The fish suffered from the same fate as the onion rings. Service was slow, likely due to the number of people subjecting themselves to the same oily overcooked so-called food. If you decide to eat there, bring a roll of paper towels. This is a place not to visit on a warm day as there is zero air conditioning! read more

I swear if these burgers aren't in heaven I'm leaving. I literally crave one right after I'm done eating mine. The fries are the old school hand cuts, makes Dick's fries look like a joke. Finally got my chance the other day after dropping my better half off for a mountain hike. Pretty much what I expected from the joint. Cool automotive decor, signs, old menus, etc. Biggest problem-what to order when I only have one stomach!? I knew I couldn't go wrong with any choice, so overheard discussion and used that advice. Green Torino burger w/Anaheim chile, fries, and an award-winning tartar sauce. If my daughter was with me I would have tried her shake; that will have to wait for next time. Ready pretty quickly for the amount of customers and was brought out on a 1/4 sheet pan, found an empty seat inside, and chowed down! Quality ingredients throughout, excellent meat, but think I would have liked a double. Big slabs of bacon, melty cheese, tart pickles, everything came together perfectly! Fries were excellent-big, hand cut and fried perfectly. Now I can't wait for my next trip, but daughter has now graduated so I need to find a new excuse! read more

Fantastic every time. The milkshakes are hand spun and are probably the best I have ever had. The burgers are so delicious and are decently portioned for your money. The fries and the onion rings are perfect. Truly this is the gem of Arlington dining and possibly all of Washington state.
