I went to pay my hoa dues with cash and was told that they don't accept cash . Cash is a legal tender . So disappointed

My experience dealing with NuVu, I unfortunately own a property in a community managed by them. Snow is not cleared on a long strip of sidewalk next to my home, their responsibility. The sidewalk runs along a snow ditch that the end of blocks have. When I as called the office because I wanted to install a wood fireplace in my house, the only part visible from outside would be the flue on the roof. The woman I talked to was snippy and told me I had to file a request. I called two times through the month I waited, asking what the holdup was. I was informed that they have one month. Well the month is up and NO response from these parasites yet. read more

Nuvu made the move in process easy. Though a little costly up front with fees, they were prompt with their responses, when I called. They answered all my questions. Katee and Emily were in constant communication with us during the whole process and were very professional and pleasant to talk to. I am a tenant in a Nuvu single family home. From the moment we approached them, when we needed to find a new home immediately due to emergency circumstances beyond our control, they were on the ball! A house had just come on the market and they worked double quick to get it ready for us to move in to. As someone who has not only been a renter for 35 years, but has also worked in property management off and on since the early 1980's, I am familiar with both sides of the Landlord/Tenant fence. In all these years of renting I can honestly say that dealing with NuVu has been one of the best, fairest and least stressful experiences I have ever had. The maintenance crew is responsive and professional and office staff are always friendly, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend them. read more

Beware, 99.9% of those that have rented from Nuvu have lost a portion or all of their deposit. So understand, that regardless of what they say, your unit will never qualify as clean enough for you to get your full deposit back. I stayed in the apartment for over 2 years and left it cleaner than when I got it (I got it the week that they finished construction and had to clean out the construction dirt, dust and left over building materials) yet, Nuvu Property Management charged me $150 for "dusting blinds, dusting ceiling fans and cleaning window tracks". Yes, $150. Think about that before you rent. Kiss the deposit goodby. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! If one person reads this and chooses another company I will feel so much better. I rented from NuVu for 2 years. I moved into a brand new unit that no one lived in prior to me. When I gave my notice to move out because I purchased a home they really took advantage of me. Mind you this was during covid. They were originally trying to charge me almost 3 grand for a lease break free. But I fought that tooth and nail because I wasn't breaking a lease. I gave the proper 30 day notice. So they dropped those charges. I clean apartment I turn in keys and move out in a timely manner. THEN.. I get this HUGE bill in the mail 30 days later. It states I destroyed my unit. It needs new paint, new carpet new appliances, everything. Guess how much the bill conveniently is? Almost 3 grand!!! So they couldn't get this money out of me with a lease break fee so they charge me for tons is miscellaneous stuff to add up to that amount. I am a single woman who decorated as if Im a Pinterest board. I am not in any way dirty or destructive. This company is scum! They are taking advantage of people and they have a lawyer to really try and scare you. They are horrible people and a horrible company. Please be careful! Don't plan on getting any money back and possibly be sued if you don't obey! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HEARTLESS HORRIBLE COMPANY! read more

I DO NOT recommend renting from this predatory property management company. I have rented over a dozen properties through the years, and dealing with NuVu was my WORST experience. DO NOT expect to get much or any of your security deposit back. DO NOT expect to get your security deposit back within 21 or 30 days of the day you moved out as required by Idaho statute. DO expect to get charged exorbitant amounts for repairs. For example, $180.00 to replace 4 slats in window blinds. DO expect to get charged for unnecessary services. For example, cleaning charges for an apartment that is already very clean. It does not matter if you complete every single task on their check-out list. DO expect to get charged erroneously for "missing" items or for damage caused by faulty equipment or poor workmanship. For example, they billed me $125.92 for a "missing" microwave that was never in the unit in the first place. DO NOT expect to be treated with dignity or respect by the property manager when you call to point out errors, such as with the microwave. DO expect to be treated with suspicion and hostility. DO NOT expect them to supply copies of receipts for repairs or replacements even if you make the request in writing. DO expect to be contacted and charged right away while you are a tenant for any problem they have with you. For example, they charged my spouse $90 to clean up a vehicle gas leak caused by the barometric pressure during the day of the big wind storm. DO NOT expect them to respond quickly to notifications of repairs needed. They never responded to our concerns about fraying carpet at a seam and a butt caused by faulty installation. The tacks were even exposed. They had weeks to respond but did not. When we moved out, they replaced the entire carpet in the living room and dining room because of the fraying on one seam and one butt, and they expect us to pay $815 for the carpet replacement. DO NOT expect them to acknowledge any mistakes. If they do, DO NOT expect any apologies. read more

I've been through the mill with property management companies time and again and was convinced I would never find one with any integrity or ethics. Nuvu changed that, they're steeped in both. I was in a real bind thanks to prior unscrupulous management and owners, but Nuvu did all they could to help and really worked with me. Moving in was a real surprise, it was like moving into a new home! They also have a portal for submitting maintenance request, submitting reviews and paying the rent... so much better than the pain of getting a cashier's cheque! I have a bad memory so I particularly like that I have the option to set up email reminders that the rent is almost due. I cannot recommend Nuvu highly enough. read more

I lived in the fieldstone apartments in post falls... Staff was nice while I lived there but once I moved out, it was a NIGHTMARE. They over-charged me for EVERYTHING, and tried telling me after I cleaned the apartment myself (so I knew it was clean), and my whole deposit was applied I still owed them almost $1000!!! Renters beware! Less than helpful when it comes to issues with the apartment but quick to jump your case when something is unfavorable for them. "Free wifi" is free junk and doesn't work since they "upgraded" good luck getting a response on getting that fixed. Don't count on all that's offered, snow is removed occasionally and the parking lots are a disaster during winter. Upside is the people are friendly and seem helpful to your face! Oh and don't expect a deposit back because the "nuvu regime" wouldn't allow that. I was charged for them removing a bbq that was there when I moved in! If I knew I'd be charged I would've taken it with me!!!! Good luck to future renters I hope they get their stuff figured out. read more
