Best bakery we encountered in Danmark during our two week visit. We were ready to come back every…read moreday we stayed in Odense, and were only deterred by them being closed one day of the week.
On the weekend, they had baked goods for sale right out on the sidewalk in the main pedestrian area of Odense. They offered up free samples of their chocolate rye bread. When you walk inside, you get to see the bakers at work, rolling and kneading dough, and get wonderful wafts of the cinnamon and dough.
You really cannot go wrong with anything they sell. Grab a coffee and sit and enjoy. They also sell a few sandwiches, but we never tried them.
