They were too lazy to help me so they told me to go to Essentia emergency room. Everyone there was super friendly from the security team that reviews you and scans you before going in (honestly it made me feel safer knowing everyone had to go through a scan) and I faced the receptionist, I'm sure she was busy (but she even checked her phone) before addressing me, which was a little annoying but I'm sure she had a good reason, I was patient, and she was very nice once she spoke to me, and we both laughed together, so she good in my book. I sat down in the waiting area and withing 30 seconds I was called on by a friendly assistant. She took me to a room where a nurse asked me basic questions, like why I'm there. Then she took me to a room with a bed and I put on a gown for easier access for the team, no biggie. Then I waited for 30 minutes about 4 times, the same (very lovely) nurse coming in and asking questions, I feel like this process could've been a little faster. Finally the IV team came in and started the procedure. They were great to talk to, we laughed. And they set everything up to standard. At mayo, they didn't numb me very much. Here they gave me a lot of lidocaine so I didn't feel anything, what a difference! I didn't even know she was in my veins. They had trouble with the homing sensor but that's not they're fault, just technology. My guy troubleshooted it quick with the 'ol unplug and replug technique. The while procedure was about 15 minutes long and they did a textbook setup and procedure. At mayo I felt pain and they had difficulties with me. At Essentia they had no problems and I didn't even know when the tube was in my vain or how they opened it up. Before I knew it they said "okay we'll wrap this up now" I was shocked honestly, that was it? And they wrapped it with a coil for slack incase anything happens. And with stronger bandages. Mayo didn't do this which is why it failed. Shout out for the emergency team nurses and IV staff for they're crazy good work and politeness. 10/10

We wanted to get him seen before we went to Canada, and this was the closest spot we had in the moment. They put the "urgent" in urgent care. He was seen almost immediately. They diagnosed the problem and prescribed medication which we were able to get on site at the pharmacy there. The pharmacy was even lightning fast! While you hope to never have to go, urgent care is a great option and they do it well. Superior care! Pun intended.
