never in my entire life have I ever encountered such absolutely outrageous and horrific prices and service. the average price of laundry in Switzerland is 8-16 euro. I was charged 60 euro for a weeks worth of clothing. this place even had the AUDACITY to say it was MY fault that they didn't take card. the annoying old ladies will make you go to an atm and pay something outrageous. and it gets worse..... 1. they dont even accept the currency of Switzerland which is chf and they made me use the atm twice. 2. We were in Zermatt just one full day and needed laundry done. We brought in a small load of mixed clothes - jeans, pants, t-shirts, a sweater, socks,and socks, and undergarments - about 915. The price was 28 francs for the small basket, much cheaper than the hotel would have charged. We picked up our laundry at 1600 with no problem. Everything was neatly folded. These guys are taking money laundering too literally. Found this place looking for a self-service laundromat, but that doesn't seem to be a thing in Zermatt. In any case, this seems to be one of the few places that charges by volume instead of per item. Don't expect that to make it a good deal. First of all, no issues with the quality of the washing, folding, etc. My beef is with the fact it's cash only. And not only that, there was no mention of that until I actually dropped off the clothes. I called in advance, they sent a price list, I checked the website - nowhere did they mention cash only. At approximately US $50 for a single load of laundry, it's already daylight robbery. Then to not accept CC payments is an extra kick in the nuts. I'm not a cash person and didn't have any cash on me, so just getting laundry involved going back to my hotel (I was staying in Tasch), then going to a currency exchange just to pay these idiots. It's 2026 and you're operating a laundromat in a country whose primary industry is banking. You can pay for the barroom turnstile at the top of the mountain with CC but not for an already overpriced laundry service? Get lost. Won't be back. read more

This is by far the worst washing experience I've ever had. It costed 45 euros to wash my small amount of clothes, precisely five days worth of clothes. This means it was 4-6 times the average price to wash clothes. The people were rude, they didn't accept CARD when we are in the era of digital currency, and the closest ATM was in a super market. They couldn't even provide a ATM to help out. Mind you the ATM had a 5 dollar conversion fee for 20 usd into 20 CHF. The ATM required a bare minimum of 50 euros if u wanted to exchange USD to euro, and bare minimum 20 CHF if u wanted to convert usd to CHF. Many clothes were also missing, and were still damp. They also didn't accept CHF which is the Switzerland currency, not including euro, because the euro is the continents currency not individual countries. So I went to the atm and converted 20 CHF for 36 usd assuming it would be enough because it is more than average for the average clothing washing price in Europe. The average clothes washing price is 7-15 CHF and 8-16 in euro, in the continent of Europe. So I spent 36 dollars on a currency I couldn't use even though it is the countries currency, and I had to walk back to the ATM and spend 70 usd to exchange for 50 euros to pay for a insane price of 45 euros for a simple wash for 5 days worth of clothes. I brought in an item of clothing where the seam was to be repaired. When I collected it, my favourite item of clothing could no longer be found. I cannot recommend this sewing studio to anyone. An apology from the sewing studio will not get my favourite item of clothing back. read more

Great service. We used this service 2 years ago and again in 2024. 39 CHF for a large basket. Probably 2 loads. On pick up everything is folded extremely neatly and put in large bag. I'm not sure why there aren't more reviews in yelp about this place. read more

Good experience. Based on prior user's comments, I'm assuming that the price of laundry is based on weight as well as number of loads-- separate washes equals separate charges. Therefore, I said lights and darks could be washed together! It's a resort town, so obviously pricy for laundry, but cost a fraction of what it would have at the hotel. Cash only-- euros or Swiss francs. Dropped off our clothes around 5pm and picked up at noon the next day. Appreciate the convenience of drop off to maximize vacation time. Doli was absolutely fair. We gave her a big load. She chose to divide the load in two machines, one for the normal, one for the delicate (cost of 60 Francs for two machines instead of 48 Francs for the jumbo machine). At home I would have done the same. At resort prices, I was tempted to just get all in one machine. Doli didn't ask. She simply made the correct choice and charged for the job she did with perfection. There cannot be anything more fair than that! The clothes came back folded with care. You can tell the difference between someone that just does her job from someone that does THE job and Doli should be proud of herself because she really does a great job. Don't hesitate - just take your clothes to Doli and she will take great care and do what needs to be done. If / When I come back to Zermatt I won't hesitate to use Doli's great service again. read more

Avoid using this company. They will quietly ask you if you want extra service. For example - "would you like these pants washed separately?" and then charge 24 francs to wash the pants. In most cultures this is called STEALING. Zermatt is already expensive. This was a terrible experience that really tainted our overall impression of Zermatt. read more
