    Mandoo small - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

Located in a Shell in Bellevue, this place serves up Korean food in a very fast casual setting, takeout only. I got the combo bop with chicken and beef, as well as a small mandoo, both level 3 spicy (scale from 1-10, so just a little spicy). For about $20, it is okay price and unfortunately with inflation, this place is not it in terms of value anymore. It used to be an amazing deal, from what I saw. The mandoo at $5.99+tax is only 3 small pieces, and the combo bop, at $12.99+tax, is mostly japchae, salad, and rice, barely any meat. The japchae is clumped together and a bit on the overcooked side. The sauce is good and does make it easy to consume everything even though it is almost all carbs, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way here.

Sometimes you a tiktok video and you're like oooh I should go try this place. I was intrigued by Korean food in a gas station. Honestly, I'm always intrigued by any food in a gas station because honestly- these places are honestly slept on. The Mandu - the flavor itself was great! I was not disappointed with that at all. I was actually surprised with how much I enjoyed it because I wasn't expecting much. My feedback is that the sauce needs to served on the side. Considering the fact that this is a to go joint only, the reheat factor is high. I could easily reheat mandu in the air fryer if the sauce was not on these. In fact, the sauce makes these less crispy immediately and takes away from the experience. My son and I both got a combo O'BOP with bulgogi and pork and the meat was SKIMPY and so was the jap chae. The bowl was filled with rice. And the rice was hard. Like it needed to be cooked more. So because of this, we couldn't eat our bowls. And when I spend almost $30 on food that I can't even eat, I get pretty disappointed. We did eat the little bit of meat on top but I tell you, it was 1oz if that. So little. I read through other reviews to see if this was a factor for others but it just seems their food is inconsistent because someone else complained of soggy rice. Maybe I came on an off day but I wouldn't risk my chances again. There are much better offerings in Bellevue for Korean food.

I've heard of this place through social media and drive by O'BOP once and a while, so I finally took the chance to try them out today for lunch. It's located inside a gas station convenient store and you order through the gas station cashier. There's no seating, so it's strictly takeout. I ordered the B-Bop which is a BBQ beef marinated in bulgogi sauce. All the ingredients are stacked on top of each other, from the sauce-covered meat on top to the glass noodles and vegetables below, and in the final layer the rice. The meat itself is just okay, but I found it a little bit dry. The sauce does help though and add more flavour to the meat. My favourite part of the dish was the glass noodles, it was really delicious. And for the bottom part where the rice is, it was also a little dry and there was so much of it. I think the ratio of the bowl could be changed, there wasn't much bbq beef inside but there was so much rice. Big imbalance I would say. You should probably mix the bowl when eating this too. I like the concept of kbbq in a bowl, but in my opinion the bowl is a work in progress. Not bad coming from the gas station though, and the bowl was pretty big too.

Came across this place accidentally. I stopped by to pump gas & had to try it. I was delighted. I got the noddle bop 8 stars & my goodness! WOW, it was spicy. Typically in my experience people will say its spicy but not to my liking. This one was over board. Totally not their fault. It was delicious. Presentation could be better to make it look more appetizing but just dig in & enjoy. The portion size is perfect to fill you up just right. I also found it to be fairly affordable.

Hole in the Wall? May be! who cares when they serve amazing food! This is inside the Shell Gas station and you have friendly folks taking your order and serving you a delicious meal! They offer meals that are take out and you can eat while anywhere you want to. B Bop is for Beef, Po Bop is for Pork and Chi Bop is for Chicken. We ordered Chi Bop and with Spicy rating of 7/10. They ask for a Spice Level when you order and please be cautious of the spice rating. We love Spicy food and spice rating for 7 was the perfect spice level, anything more would have been difficult! The Chi Bop is stir fried chicken which is doused with min of 4-5 sauces on a bed of rice, thin noodles and salad. This was amazing ! we also ordered Mandoo (chicken) which are chicken pot stickers served with their special sauce. Plenty of parking, you get your dish within 5 minutes! will come to try other Bops!

I enjoyed my lunch, and considered it good for "gas station" food. I got the chicken. The flavors were very satisfying, though I would have liked spicier (I ordered 7 out of 10 stars). It came in one bowl, rice on the bottom, then a little salad (very little), some noodles which were good, and the chicken and sauces on top. For $10, I think I'd like more chicken. Otherwise, I was pretty satisfied.

    Chi (Chicken) Bop... Very delicious!

I have been coming to this place multiple times and all their yummy Bops varieties are delicious. A very simple but delicious Korean BBQ meal, all in a cute small/medium size bowl. A bowl of rich and delicious flavors where you can choose from beef, pork or chicken... You should definitely try their place at least once. The Korean woman who gave me my order also gave me a high compliment of my Northface jacket... Super sweet of her. ~^^ Anyhow try this place out, plus the prices here are very reasonable.

Such a unique little operation. This little restaurant is located inside of a convenience store at a gas station. So weird! But cool and different which I always like. The korean woman who served us was very nice and joyful. She prepared our food quickly and clearly efficiently. There is a cute screen by the order counter that says how great their bowls are and how healthy... super cute. We sat outside and ate at the little bistro tables provided. Our view was the gas pumps. Haha. All 3 of us really enjoyed our bowls. Having japchae noodles with rice was a bit odd to me at first, but it really worked! The bowl doesn't look that huge but trust me, there is a lot of food in that thing. Well worth the price. I would and probably will happily return.

Generally ok bibimbap The beef tastes ok They can adjust the amount of sauce The mushroom slice in it is good

The food is great. Not what you would expect from a gas station. It's layered with rice, glass noodles, salad and meat on top. The sauce they use on the top of the meats is awesome! You can choose a spicy level of 1-10 and I love spicy in all of my foods so I typically get a 9 or 10. It can get busy at times. The food is only available during the week. Saves me time when I need to get lunch and gas!!

Pretty good - very delicious for a pretty okay price. The only odd thing was it wasn't as hot (temperature-wise) as I would have expected.

These folks probably need another great review like Elon Musk needs an increase in his allowance,…read morebut fairness demands that I not keep silent regarding my enjoyment of this restaurant: THE ROSES: Ample dedicated parking. The staff is gracious, prompt, professional, and - I hope no one objects when I say this - rather attractive. Generous portions and reasonable prices for what you're getting. The food is nothing sort of legendary - bold flavors and dishes have the perfect balance of sweet, heat, savory, and umami. THE THORNS: None significant enough to mention. NEITHER ROSE NOR THORN: It is important to note that this place is insanely popular with the area's Korean community. The restaurant is quite busy Thursday thru Sunday, and significant waits for a table are likely. Monday thru Wednesday is your best time for going and getting a table without a wait. The price of some dishes, like their signature offering, Kalbijjim, might give you a pause ($80+). It is important to keep in mind this is made to order, and one serving can easily serve four regular appetites. If you're just a couple, you're definitely going to be taking this home with you. This is not a bad thing, as Kalbijjim is one of those dishes that is even better the next day and doesn't suffer from reheating. THE VERDICT: Daeho Kalbijjim is extremely popular, and it's not hard to see why. The execute authentic Korean cuisine pretty much flawlessly with efficient and charming service. What else to you want in a restaurant? Highly recommend. Just try not to go on the busy days.

I wanted to give this place a second chance because I know a lot of people really enjoy it, but…read moreunfortunately my experiences were underwhelming. As i always say go try it for yourself. The first time I visited, the quality of the meat cuts didn't impress me, and the soups lacked depth of flavor. I'm not talking about needing more salt--the broth itself just tasted flat. When you're paying close to $30 for a bowl of soup, I think it's reasonable to expect a higher level of quality and care to ingredients. The second visit was a mixed experience. To be fair, I was in the wrong. There is a clearly posted policy stating that your entire party must be present before being seated. My group was about seven minutes away, and since I had already checked in on Yelp and there were only two parties ahead of me with no one physically waiting, I asked if I could be seated and order while I waited. I had already been standing inside for about 10 minutes. I was told that although tables were available, seating me ahead of the other parties on the waitlist would be unfair. I understood the reasoning, but she had also asked prior for my order. Her explanation left me confused so i sheepishly said I understood the policy. She already seemed upset by the time i had gotten there. Sometimes we have off days i get that. This place is clearly hit or miss, I've got friends who absolutely swear by it. For me, though, it wasn't anything special and didn't justify the price. If you're looking for Korean food in the area, I've had better experiences with higher-quality dishes elsewhere, especially in Lynnwood.

Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home. The inside is clean, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is that they have an Okay health rating and not a Good or Excellent health rating. I didn't look up the exact violations, but it would be great to see an improvement in score. Overall: 4/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere
