Having said that, inflation has increased prices in Brazil to a point that is prohibitive. For example, Mont Blanc cologne costs about R$800 ($150 USD)! The service continues to be excellent here, even though the prices are so high. The shop itself is rather attractive and well laid-out. If you are desperate for an upscale gift, this is still the place to shop, but I prefer to wait until I am back in the good ol' USA to buy my cologne or perfumes.

They sell mostly clothing, but you can find perfume, costume jewelry, watches and accessories too. This particular store is located in the Manaira Shopping Mall. It's pretty large, has a decent selection of styles and sizes and their prices are reasonable. It can be a bit difficult to find someone to help you when you're in the store, but other than that, it's pretty good.
