Now, this location is an outlet, meaning they sell merchandise from past seasons at a reduced price. The prices are indeed reduced heavily, but the fact that the starting price is so high means the reduced price is still high. I took a look around the store and was dismayed that I couldn't even buy a single item. Even a bra was only reduced to 27 euros. Sad face. If you are a camping nut or just enjoy being outside, this place is worthy of a stop in. Their stuff is really excellent and fun to just look at a wish for, as I do. The main drawback is that, because it is an outlet, you don't have as many options. You're definitely not seeing their full range, which is even more impressive.

Twenty minutes later I'm still standing in Aldo wondering what I can buy. Aldo is a great shop just because it's so cheap and cheerful but also stocks the right things. The shoes and boots are really nice and just the price that you think you can buy them without breaking the bank. Then they have bags and jewellery to match, it's hard to pass by. Up to the minute fashion, I even felt fashionable just being in there, it's affordable too. But, I stayed strong. I left with just two flower hair-clips for €6 each (but you can pin them to your coat too, so it's totally a deal). Maybe I'll visit them again after pay day...

I find their boots to be especially compelling, and they have dozens of styles and colors to choose from. I think their heels and flats can leave a bit to be desired, as I find a lot of them kind of ho-hum. Still, it would be a great place to find a sturdy pair you can wear for both work and play. Their men's shoes are great. They're both stylish and not too metrosexual so this is a fabulous place for regular joes to get some party shoes of their own.

They also do work-wear incredibly well. And while a lot of this office wear is pretty uninspiring, it's basic and not ugly and easy to throw on in the morning. They also do fabulous basics. If I need a tank top in a specific color, for example, I immediately head to H&M because I know they'll have what I need in the color I desire (and in every color of the rainbow) and it will be cheap as dirt. Their accessories are top-notch; I find that their hats, gloves and scarves are especially cute.

Heathers on Arran Quay is pretty much the only physical shop in Ireland where I have bought shoes…read morein for the last six or seven years. Excluding one pair of flip-flops and a pair of boots, both from TK Maxx, all of my other footwear purchases were in Heathers on Arran Quay. This isn't because Heathers have fantastic ranges or amazing service or unbelievable low prices. It is because I have unusually large feet. Size thirteens, specifically. This rather limits my choice of footwear in other shoe shops, whose sizes often go up to only eleven (not unlike Nigel Tuffnell's amp). Heathers is the only large shoe shop in Dublin, so it makes for a fairly un-agonising decision as to where to go when I go shoe shopping. Heathers range of shoes is decent, not brilliant. And the shoes there are expensive: it would be unusual to get change from €100 for a pair of big shoes there. They're pretty cheap for regular shoes; however their range tends to be quite old mannish. Heathers also have lots of displays of safety boots and snickers bottoms and hi-vis jackets and such, so if you're a tradesman, go crazy. So if you're fortunate enough to have normal sized feet, best not to bother your arse going to Heathers, the range isn't that great and it's a bit out of town. If you have big feet though, it means that you buy shoes with the unheard of luxury of being able to try them on beforehand (for all the innovations that broadband has brought about, it still isn't possible to try on shoes over the internet).

Would have been nice to actually get it inside the shopping center but the West End spot suits it well. It's a very nicely laid out space with plenty of room. This is great due to the variety of stock they have on hand. Any major sport you think of, Nike will have something for it. Staff are friendly too, never had any issues. They seem talkative, attentive and ready to help.

I also love the face that changing rooms have a big picture of the great Steve Prefontaine on the wall-thats what brings me back!
