Fantastic modern local theater. O'Neil Cinema in Littleton is, no doubt, my favorite theater to visit. Its great location makes it convenient, and the overall experience never disappoints. I appreciate how clean the theaters and bathrooms are for a great experience. Seats are super comfortable, allowing for a truly immersive experience while watching a movie. Also has great surround sound and large screens. The online purchasing process is a streamline. I love that it offers options like Apple Pay and credit card payments, making it quick and easy to purchase tickets. I went here on Thursday to see the F1 movie. We arrived early to get our tickets, snacks, and to get situated. We bought our tickets on this kiosk that you will see when you walk right in. It is in the direct view of when you walk in. The machine was slow and was confusing for someone who does not usually buy tickets at the movie theatre. The machine printed my receipt first and two copies of it. It took a while to get my actual ticket. The food there is average price for a movie theatre but it is still expensive. Getting our food was no problem and arriving to our showing was as well no problem. Movie was great. Showing was fun and entertaining. I am definitely coming back to see more movies at O'Neil. read more

This is one of the better theaters in the area. Definitely much better than showcase in Lowell or Tyngsboro. They do a great job of delivering your food order directly to your seat. The seats are more comfortable and they have trays. But I think the best thing is they make their popcorn fresh! Not like the other locations that have it shipped in and you can hardly chew it. This is my go to theater. I probably would not be going to the theater if it wasn't for these guys. read more

My favorite cinema of all time. We started going when they first opened in Littleton and I never want to go to another theater. The rows are spacious so no one is kicking the back of your seat. The seats are huge and comfortable and reclining. The seats are in pairs so if you are with someone you can raise the arm rest. The food is actually solid for movie theater food, still $$ but at least the quality is good. There is a little bar area as well. There are kiosks to pick up tickets. They have a loyalty program and discounts like cheap tickets on Tuesdays. All the of the staff we have interacted with have been great. They keep it clean. Essentially, I only have good things to say about O'Neil and it is definitely my top choice movie theater. read more

This theater looks really nice, but I'd say that's about it. Also, tickets for night shows are $15 on Sat (I compared among AMC, Lowell Showcase, and Chunky's, O'Neil showed $12, but I guess the site didn't refresh itself or whatever). I'm kinda okay with the $15 because this theater is a baby made from my 2 favorites, Chunky's and Showcase Lowell because the food you order comes to your seat! These seats are so comfortable and roomy, like a lecture hall in college. Also, there TONS of seats. The downsides is that there's no game room, I need something to kill time besides eating, man. My sister ordered Apple Pie $5, which never came during Black Panther. She told the staff after the movie and they said it never came out and unfortunately No Refunds. Luxury theater experience with large screen, premium sound, and wide reclining chairs. Seating is sloped so all have a perfect view.

Went last night to see Deadpool and Wolverine. (BTW don't sleep on this movie; it is amazing. ) Our seats were comfy and fantastic. The only glitch was the kitchen lost our food order and the movie was so good none of us wanted to leave and try and find out what went wrong. This is a 5 star review because after the movie O'Neils staff went above and beyond addressing the slip up. Everyone makes mistakes, their kindness after it happened was what was top notch. read more

This is the 3rd bad expierience I have had at this cinema...in a row! The staff are BEYOND rude, and/or have no clue how to do their job! I am a mom of 2 and I was taking my kids to see a movie here, and when I was getting my tickets I was standing next to a group of teenagers, also ordering their tickets. They asked for the tickets, and they stated they were 17 and able to watch an R-rated movie, and the worker began to get their tickets ready. A worker then yelled from across the establishment that all of them had to have ID's or else they wouldn't be able to see the movie they wanted. This may not sound rude, but her tone was EXTREMELY condescending. I even heard her tell another group of kids that if she caught them sneaking out of the theater, they would all be kicked out! I hadn't even heard the kids use any rude language, talk back, and she immediately resorted to yelling at them and assumed that these 12 year olds would sneak into the movie! Not to mention that their prices are RIDICULOUS! I payed for me and my close friend to get a medium popcorn, two tickets, and two medium drinks, and I payed $53! Overall, this establishment is negative, dirty, and waayyyy overpriced. Please do not give these people business, for they do NOT desvere it. read more

This movie theater was a nice escape for our Labor Day weekend. Seats were comfortable and reclined. There are love seat type recliner were you can lift the middle arm and snuggle with you significant other. Each seat has a tray we're you can put your snacks. The best part is the levels are tiered so no matter how tall the person is in front of you it won't be in the way. Great movie experience. read more

We visited this theatre last night to view Jumanji and Paddington 2. It was a great experience. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and there is a desk attachment where you put your drink and food. This is very well designed. The staff is friendly and helpful. They were prepared for a busy Saturday night, which was nice. Last, the prices are reasonable for what you get. I am so glad this area finally got a movie theater! This is a unique movie theater because it has basically a full restaurant and bar immediately once you walk in. I came here to see black panther for the second time. My friend and I showed up early to have a bite before. We got the fried cheese curds and they were incredible. The drinks are mediocre, but what do you really expect at the movie theater? I went on a Tuesday and everything was cheaper, including a large popcorn for $4! One of the biggest target markets for movie theaters is teenagers. A teenager generally will have a minimum wage job paying $12.75 per hour. O'Niels charges $5 for a single Kit Kat. That is equivalent to (about) half an hour of work. Is that at all reasonable? My friends and I like coming to O'Neils because it's a clean safe environment. We have had uncomfortable encounters at other theaters. But the prices are not appropriate for anyone our age. Also I have diabetes and brought a small back pack into the theater. The man at the entrance asked to search my bag and I explained that it was my diabetic kit. He looked at me like I was gross and told me that he still needed to check it as if he thought I was faking my disease. I opened my bag and he used a pen to poke around my things then smirked at me and asked "see was that so hard?" This was genuinely upsetting. read more

Let's start off with the positive, nice theatre, comfortable seats and convenient location. That's about it. If you want a drink get there an hour before your movie starts. They only have one bartender. He moves at a snails pace. They also have only one waitress. Good luck getting your order taken. This is my 4th time at this theatre. Went to see Little Mermaid and the movie was terrific though it was overshadowed by the base from the action movie playing next door. There was roaring during times of the movie when there should have been quiet and thumping during a good portion of the movie. Popcorn was ok but their "butter" seems particularly greasy. It is a convenient theater with comfortable seating and a friendly staff but we were a bit disappointed in not being able to fully enjoy the movie. read more

This was our first visit to O'Neil Cinemas snd it was a flawless experience. These theaters are gorgeous, impeccably clean and spacious. You select your seat when purchasing tickets. The seats are do comfy, they recline almost all the way! Great snack bar options including a little bar with beer/wine. The staff working were eager to help. I wish we had a theater like this close to where we live. I could mot get over how clean and comfortable everything was! Definitely worth driving to, even if its out of the way and not your closest movie theAter. There are also several fantastic restaurants in the same plaza to go to eat before/after a show. First time coming here, heard a lot of good things about this place. We bought tickets only for the matinee, three people came to $36. We also got three burgers for lunch and three drinks $48 total, so you figure diner and lunch a little pricey, but worth it. The place is super clean, the staff is friendly and the seats are the most comfortable that I have ever had the pleasure of reclining fully, you could almost fall asleep in them. This is my go-to movie theatre, and I am here frequently. There have been some improvements since my first review, like fixing the temperature, adding online ticketing through Atom, and opening the restaurant. But other things have not changed. Concessions are still ridiculously overpriced -- a soda and snack will cost more than your ticket. They do have "Bargain Tuesdays" though, which at least make it affordable. Traffic flow through the lobby is still terrible, especially on busy nights. I have two other complaints which can't be easily fixed... 90-95% of each theatre is "couch" seating. This is great for families, couples, and close friends, but terrible when shared with a stranger. The couch seat has independent left and right reclining, but one shared middle armrest to fight over. Single seats are typically only one on each end, with the rest of the row a couch. Or in some cases no single seats exist. I think the limited number of single seats was a terrible decision. It's very awkward when you share the seat with a stranger, and often I just end up buying that other seat which is a waste of money (and something I shouldn't have to do). When booking online you can book either the whole couch or just one side, but there's no discount for booking the whole couch. My other complaint is the number of screens. 8 screens is tiny by today's standards. When the theatre was first announced it was supposed to be 12 screens. I don't know why they scaled back, but now there's a building literally 3 feet away on one side, and parking lot and hill on the other sides, so there's no place to expand. Only 8 screens means limited selection, especially when a big blockbuster opens. There's been several instances now where me and my friends had to go to another theatre to watch a movie because Oneil's wasn't showing it -- they tend to stick with the more family friendly titles. I've also noticed they run some movies way past their box office run, which is fine, but instead of sharing that theatre (they apparently don't know how to do this) they devote a full day's box office to the older movie. read more

We had such a great time here! Rented a full theatre at an extremely reasonable price. The communication was superb and we were able to purchase food and snacks before arrival. When we got there everything was set up for us and food was quickly served. We went with three 3 year olds and they had a blast. Oneil was very accommodating, clean, and friendly. Our favorite cinema by far! We used to go to AMC but started going to O'Neil's instead (even though we already paid for AMC's membership). The theaters are beautiful, new and clean, the screen is huge and the sound is loud and clear. Also, I don't know why but the movie goers here seem more well behaved than in other theaters - less blinding phone screens and obnoxious talking. Also friendly staff, plenty of parking and clean bathrooms. Overall - we have an excellent experience every time we go to O'Neil's! read more

I've now been to a few movies here and every time it has been enjoyable. It's a great theater to see the latest blockbusters. The reclining chairs are very comfortable. Online ticketing is super convenient and you can reserve your seat which is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking. It's nice that this is near where my nieces and nephews live because I like to take them to the movies as a treat. It sure beats some of the other theaters in the surrounding area. read more

We went to see Star Wars this weekend. There are definitely some kinks that need to be worked out, but I will be back. The signage outside is a bit confusing and we wound up walking into the lounge instead of the front door to the theater. It worked out though because I made a mistake with our movie time and we were really early. We had a seat in the lounge and ordered some drinks and fries. The waitress was very nice, but clearly did not have much experience waiting tables and I'm not sure she'd survive a busy night when this place gets some legs. You can order food, drinks (beer and cocktails too!) and they can give you a to-go cup to take it in the theater with you. The fries were hot and crispy. Huge TV to watch a game while you wait. The concession stand seems like it could be a nightmare once people can start ordering real food. For example, as I walked up to the counter the employee offered me a menu to review. If I'm waiting in line just for a soda and popcorn, I'm going to get really impatient waiting for someone to pick out a 4-course meal. Maybe a couple express lines that are just for standard movie fare - popcorn, drinks, candy? The line to get our tickets checked was also very long and inefficient, but I would imagine that that will be streamlined. I had tickets on my phone and the guy had to type info into the computer instead of just scanning the bar code on my phone. Lots of wasted time in line. We saw Star Wars in the DLX theater. It was beautiful. Seats, super comfy, they reclined and I like the table. I wish they weren't "two seaters", because then you can sometimes feel like you're sitting with a stranger, but oh well. The screen was amazing, the sound was also amazing. Lots of space between rows. As others said, the theater was FREEZING. I used my wool coat as a blanket and was still cold. TURN ON THE HEAT! I tend to drive either to Tyngsboro or Natick to watch new movies because I like the recliner seating and the ability to reserve my seats. I definitely will be putting this theater in my rotation. read more

Recently attended a Saturday matinee with my 5 year old granddaughter. Midway through the movie I needed to escort her to the ladies restroom. Being 5 years old she was rather timid, and afraid to use the facilities without her grandfather nearby. This was a dilemma that might have ruined our afternoon. I stood outside the door in an effort to reassure her she was safe. I was having no luck. An O'neil employee was hurrying by, must have sensed that something was amiss, and turned around to ask if I needed help. Boy, did I ever. She went inside the ladies room and stayed with her, poking her head out of the door twice to tell me all was good. The young girl's name was Bella. I never thought going to the movies could make me angry, but boy was I wrong. Just starting off, we went to buy tickets at the self-service station. We had issues with the machine accepting our card, but luckily one of the staff members was already next to us and said he'd help us at the desk! He was sure to point out that our seats would be saved since we had them help up in the failing machine. Well he was wrong. We get to the desk and everything except the front row is gone apparently. Didn't he just tell us that our seats would be fine since we had them reserved at self service? Trying to watch the movie from the front row was a nauseating experience, but luckily our original seats were OPEN and we were able to just move. Ok, one mistake I can forgive. That's fine. I go to buy some junior mints. My friends asks for a cup of water, for which they tried to charge SIX DOLLARS. Not for a bottle, but for TAP WATER. Tap water is free. Charge for the cup if you need, that's fine. But SIX DOLLARS for tap water? Dear god. Instead she got a bottle for $4. Still ridiculous. Before we go on, let me just say I've NEVER seen a movie theater charge for water. I've gotten singular cups of water many times at many different theaters. Never an issue. Water is free. It's a necessity for survival. THEN going into the theater, they asked to search my bag. Weird. Never once have I been searched at a movie theater. I had my nice reusable water bottle in my bag as I always do. I'll never leave the house without it. I was told I had to either leave it with them, or return it to my car. Well I'm not leaving my $40 water bottle with them, so I have a nice run back to my car before the movie - just what I wanted! I was told it's because they sell water. That's great, but I would absolutely never buy water from them. I don't support the use of plastic bottles, nor do I support charging any amount of money for water. I know concessions are the main revenue source for theaters - I'd just bought candy from them, as I do every time I see a movie. But I do always bring in a reusable water bottle, which I've never hidden and never had any issues with - not at a single theater. What if I'd thrown my junior mints in my purse to walk to the theater? Would I have had to return them too? If he'd doubted it was water, I'd be happy to dump it out in front of them and refill it in the BATHROOM, just to make this point. Feel free to stop people bringing candy or sodas into your theater. But no one should ever have to pay money for drinking water. The best part? While I frantically ran back to my car before our movie began, my friend waited while people handed over their tickets. During that time, they did not ask a single person to check their bags. You can't claim to enforce this policy and then pick and choice who to search. END POINT. If you want to have such an intense no outside food and drink policy, you can't try to charge people $6 for water. That's a scam. It's not "no different from most entertainment facilities". Most entertainment facilities provide free water. By the way, The Post was fantastic. Please go see it. But maybe not here. read more

We come here frequently. Great staff and food. Comfortable seats and a decent loyalty program. However, the noovie thing they have started doing before the movies (advertising encouraging to download an app and play a game on the screen---a few times before the movie) is the most annoying thing I have ever experienced at a movie theater. My advice...which I am taking for our next visit...is come in to the theater no later than one minute after your movie is scheduled to start. read more

Wow. This hidden gem is awesome. In a new construction open air mall (is that what they're called?) At the very end of the curving road, sits this movie theater. As part of the theater, but separated by 3 walls, it's a full size bar/lounge area. Not sure if they sell food in there or not. Concession stand sign read that food could take up to 30 minutes and would be delivered to your seat. This is new construction. I never thought that a movie theater could look like a fancy hotel. Check out some of the pictures. The hallways are very elegant. That signage are digital screens. The seats are reclining and have little table tops that swivel out of the way, with cup holders.
