We were respectful and nonpolitical, she assumed from our ethnic backgrounds and treated us accordingly. She verbatim said she will not serve our kind. Then proceeded to tell all her bar tenders to no longer serve us. Regrettably we had to get our drinks upstairs. She went out of her way to stare at us from the top, making my mother uncomfortable. If you want a pub without employees making every thing political, this is not the spot. We do not even entertain politics, she just put us in a basket. This is the first time in my life I had to exit the pub because of the brainwashed ultra lefty employee. I love all people and people on the left, it sucks that this extremist ruined the night after spending our hard earned money. Honestly the pours were weak, the lighting was poor, and the drinks were heavily overpriced. It's some fake Irish bar.

Very cute and ascetic pleasing pub in London. We were looking for a place to have a drink and sit…read moredown for a bit after a long day of sight seeing. We came across this place and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by two people at the door and invited inside. There are multiple floors that you would not expect from the look of outside. We sat on the second floor by the fireplace. There was a bar where we sat. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered some drinks and food. There was music playing but it wasn't so loud you could not hear the people you were with. The service, food, and atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this spot to others.

Love this pub. The Guinness is great, though it should be as it's an Irish pub. I only visit once a…read moreweek, but the staff remember me every time. They are friendly and welcoming, not just to me, but all customers. They even remember which table I usually sit at. I don't have food, but isn't Guinness all you need to fill you up? I would recommend a member of staff for special thanks, but they are all good. I do have a card with Amber & Lisa on it, so special shout out to them.

My bias is that I have only ever been here on Christmas Eve(s), always with a big group of friends and plenty of wine beforehand. A few years ago I had to be dragged kicking and screaming to O'Neills on Christmas Eve - not now! Now I'm the first in, rocking up to the bar and getting a round in. I always have fun, it's like a school reunion in there for me, for a start, and now that I live so far away it's great to come home and see old faces. So, what else should I say. Well, they often have live music on and I can vaguely remember dancing on occasion so it must be decent (either that or the wine has taken its toll). It's hot and sweaty, you'll likely be chatted up by a few people you don't want to be chatted up by and have to maneuver yourself away pronto. The queue for the bar looks big but I find it never takes long to get served. All in all this O'Neills is my favourite place for a Christmas Eve shin-dig. Festive fun guaranteed, and if you're anything like me it's followed by missing the last night bus, having to locate a taxi, chatting to a (very old) taxi driver about what the area looked like in the Second World War, getting home to your parents house, quietly making tea and toast then being woken up at 6am on Christmas Day by your dad who's come down to find you on the sofa with cold tea and toast in front of you. Ahh, it's good to go home for Christmas!
