Fantastic place to stay in the beautiful town of Dingle! Mary was amazing and we truly enjoyed her hospitality.

Once we made it to our guest room, our stay could not have been more pleasant. My family's room was spacious. The interior felt new and featured four twin beds. I also liked the high-tech tv adorning the wall; it offers Netflix and other streaming services. Despite Dingle being a town full of vibrant nightlife, I heard no noise emanating from the street below as I slept. In the morning, the inn offered plenty of great Irish Breakfast foods (and tea!) for no additional charge. The location couldn't be more ideal. It's steps away from some of Dingle's finest shops and restaurants. Walking around this area is fun; there is so much to take in beneath the sweeping Irish mountainscape. Plus, the town feels quite safe. My only word of caution: street parking in this area can be tight for larger vehicles. Dingle is an enchanting place, and the Bare Na Sraide Inn represents its city well. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through this part of Ireland.

Enough to accommodate for three adults. All the rooms are en suite with its own toilet and shower. The wifi works throughout the house and very well in the guest rooms. The breakfast was delicious and I feel that I left satisfied. Props on the coffee. It was really really good. It is in a well placed central location just as the website promises. It is also a stones throw away from a pub and a Lidl.

A young man, Robert, owns the B&B and does an excellent job making it and you feel at home. The room we had was nice and clean, with its own bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to everything (though Dingle is not a very large town). On the second day we were there, while my husband was golfing and I was trying to decide what to do, Robert made up a pot of coffee with cookies and pastries and sat with me for a bit just to chat and relax. He also helped us with which pubs were "authentic" and gave us some recommendations on restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic, though I cannot finish a full Irish breakfast to save my life, and the coffee was perfect. We intend to return to Dingle (as it was our favorite place in Ireland) and will definitely stay at this B&B again.

I can't believe I never reviewed this place. Well...let's change that!…read more Me and my husband traveled southern Ireland over the course of 10 days for our one-year anniversary. Even though this was 5 years ago, we still reminisce on our absolutely remarkable stay at Pax House. It is now the standard by which I judge all hotels/inns/bed and breakfasts that I visit on my travels. On this particular vacation, we stayed in B&Bs, a swanky hotel or two, and even a castle, yet Pax House was hands-down our favorite place. John knows hospitality and Pax House felt like staying at a friend's home. Breakfasts were delicious, the decor is fabulous, and the views of Dingle Bay are breathtaking. John was readily available to offer suggestions regarding the nearby scenic drives around the peninsula or which local pubs offered the best food. I remember one night there was an issue with our television. John came by to try to fix it, but it still wasn't doing what we wanted. Several minutes later there was a knock on our door. We opened it to find John holding two glasses of Bailey's and offering more apologies. These days, when we talk about going back to Europe we're always trying to figure out a way to work in a couple of nights at Pax House. We will be back one day. Until then, we will continue to think back fondly on our time here.

The breakfast at Pax House was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! The scones and yogurt were so fresh and the entree was delicious. They use fresh produce and eggs from their homestead and you can tell the difference. The location was just a quick 15 minute walk into town and they provide you with bright safety vests as you're walking on a narrow road with no shoulder or sidewalk for about 5 minutes of the walk. John and company are so lovely and helpful. I think about this place all the time and how I can't wait to go back. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating and no detail was left out.
