This is the only branch in Northern Ireland and it's an absolute treasure trove of funky clothes, jewellery, accessories and home wares. Clothes are of the leggings/obscure t shirts/floral dresses type so beloved by teenagers (and sad older people like me), while the jewellery is big and funky and best of all affordable. You'll also find sunglasses, hats, handbags (big, slouchy and fashionable) and footwear. There is a section of vintage clothes and jewellery where you'll find one off pieces that you can be sure no-one else will have. Also, there seems to be a perpetual sale so although some of the pieces are pricey, you can still find a bargain. The home wares section has some really terrific stuff - my favourite thing from Urban Outfitters so far is my technicolor Wonder Woman apron. And I am indeed a wonder woman. The staff in this store are all young and funky and the good news are that they are friendly and super helpful, even when the shop is jammed with customers.

Well step inside and leave all sense of what is expensive and what isn't outside with the sane people. This shop is almost the most pointless shop in the world. Basically, every shop has a target audience. And some shops have maybe two target audiences. This seems to be aimed at anyone who wants to come in with money. I walked around the entirety of this shop and absolutely everything had an extortionate price tag, or looked so out of place it confused me. It's kind of an up-market version of a shop selling stuff that as fallen off the back of a lorry, except that the lorry was a very fancy, soft-top BMW and the box was decorated with diamonds. The shop specialises in clothes for men and women, accessories, wallpaper, novelty gifts, music, helmets, art, books... Call in for a look around by all means. So when we found it, we made it a point to stop in. Well let's just say our stop in turned into an all out let's buy everything. They have cute kids clothes that are super cheap and good quality. It was nice to see that they had Disney stuff as most places don't and if they do, they charge an arm and a leg. At least in the states. The staff is super helpful and even helped me find sizes. The place was stocked and we'll maintained. Yes they do get alot of customers and so having some mess is going to happen. Sifting isn't actually too bad at this TK Maxx as the staff keep the rails in pretty good order. Belfast now has plenty of fashion outlets but it doesn't have much similar to TK Maxx. This store is huge and set over 3 floors. It has a woman's section, kids section, men's section and even a dedicated jewelry counter. My advice would be that if you are looking for something specific then come to TK Maxx and see if they have it in store, you could save yourself a few quid.

Well, this may be the case and I'm sure Alan Sugar is oh so very proud but there is one problem - I don't think the stuff is any good. The jeans themselves are just not nice. They're way too mainstream and have basically no style or quality about them. I'm a bit of a jeans snob and will only wear Levi's but I think Pepe are a bit rubbish. The shop itself is nice. Its slick and clean and modern. The staff are sound enough as well, they're polite and professional which you can't really complain about. This place just isn't for me but I'm sure its pretty much perfect for a lot of people.

The place is fairly typical of modern clothes store - dark wood, darkly lit but brightened in all the right place. There are a plethora of jeans to choose from - traditional blue denim in standard cuts through to boot-cut, loose and the brightly coloured variety. I've never understood bright jeans or coloured jeans in general, especially for men. The idea of wearing white denim baffles me, it truly does. Anyway, worth a little poke around but to be honest it being a one off branded store you're stuck with the limit of having only Pepe Jeans to choose from.

The housing in this area is expensive and this attracts a well to do lot to the area. With well to do ladies comes lovely expensive clothing that they want to sell. And so Deja Vu was born. The shop works by a client leaving in a high end piece of clothing, shoes or accessories and then the shop sells it for them for 50% of the price. There are loads of beautiful tops, dresses and skirts from really posh designers - gorgeous. It's like a second hand shop with a difference. They also stock mother of the bride/groom outfits that have only been worn once, originally cost hundreds, even thousands and are in perfect condition. I wish I had have had more time to browse but I didn't - the woman who runs this place is the best sales assistant I have come across yet - lovely to chat to, no pressure, takes time, points out bargains and really seems to want to help. That's what I love about here- the individuality. Super reasonable pricing too for what you get. They do turn around a good lot of clothes here and as they are second hand they may not have a huge variety of sizes, so if you see something you like don't dwell on it, just buy or it will be gone!

This shop opened fairly recently, in June, having first set up in Moira and stocks a range of the names of designer accessories such as Longchamp, Coccinelle and Marc Jacobs. All glorious but needless to say expensive, with leather bags starting at over £200 though you could get a nylon and leather tote type bag for about £50. There are also designer umbrellas, at over £150 which with my track record of losing umbrellas would be a very high risk purchase indeed.
