We really wanted to love and trust this shop. Our car started throwing a cylinder 6 check engine…read morecode and we asked them to diagnose it for us. They told us we needed to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs and that would solve the problem. After charging almost $900 the code came back in less than a month. We took our car back in and they told us they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and to come pick it up. We asked for a list of tests they ran and the results. We got a small list but no results. A simple search from chat gpt told us what the problem could be and easy tests that could be run to confirm it. Two other mechanics confirmed that they could have run a simple test to confirm the head gasket was bad as well. Now we get to pay another mechanic to diagnose it and replace the head gasket after already wasting $900 with carsmart.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRAILER HERE we have had ours in for warranty work several times. One of those…read moretimes they charged us $300 sent us out to our trailer (nothing had been fixed) they then realized they supposedly did those repairs to a different unit so we had to wait another week to actual have ours repaired (I'm not convinced they ever actually do what they say) we've had them look at our fridge 3 seperate times, for the same issue, 3 different charges for them to say they can't duplicate the issue. We just took it in to have our water heater fixed, but the tank was never filled so how they actually tested it to see what was wrong, or to see if it was fixed before leaving is beyond me. And the nail in the coffin our trailer sat there for a month and in that time someone damaged it, but they refuse any responsibility. I'm assuming our insurance company will wring it out of them, unless they don't actually have any insurance, and if not, then thats a giant problem for any consumer.

I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them.
