Take Ten Tire & Service - Wreck in field

Take Ten Tire & Service

If it weren't for the team that changes oil there I wouldn't leave any stars. I took our hummer in…read moreto get the tires all changed and asked for an alignment. This is our spare vehicle that isn't used often so we were trying to keep it maintained. They told me that it couldn't be aligned, that the struts would have to be replaced. They gave me a quote and sent me on my way. The did NOT tell me that the tie rods were bad, and I found out that they would have known Neither did they indicate that it might be at all unsafe to be driving. So My son drove the hummer as we were deciding how we wanted to tackle the expense and he had a wreck because the tie rods went out. He was very lucky not to have been injured and that he was going at a low speed as he had just left the house. He ended up in a farmer's field banged up as the hummer went off the road into a culvert. Wreck and a brand new tire ruined as well. NEVER again will I go there for mechanic work. Take 10, DO BETTER! You could have cost my son his life!

I came into this business on March 17th to have 2 tires replaced on my RV. The price for the tires…read morewas reasonable as well as the price of the labor. I headed North, since I was returning to my home state of Minnesota. 2 weeks later, I arrived at my destination, and just as I reached the exit ramp, something shiny rolled away from the RV. I stopped and walked back and there was my hub cap on the roadway with both lug nuts broken off. I also noted that 5 of the 8 lug nuts were gone and broken off. I contacted Bauer Built Tire and they sent a mechanic out to me. He showed me where the holes for the lugs were rounded and the hub itself was damaged. Bauer Built emailed me an invoice for the work that needed to be done. I contacted the manager, Justin. After a number of future attempts to contact him, I finally talked to him today(5/5) to discuss the work. His first offer was a 50/50 split of the bill. I told him that was completely unacceptable, and that I might be happy with a 75/25 split. Justin informed me he would speak to corporate again and try for an 80/20 split, but on further thought, why should I be responsible at all for any of the repairs if this company stands behind there policy of complete customer satisfaction. If I am not satisfied with their reply, then I will be forced to reach out to the BBB, and the State Attorney General's office for some help resolving this matter.

Keeler Equipment Sales

Keeler Equipment Sales

I'll never use Keeler Equipment again for any truck bed, cake feeder, trailer, brush guard or other…read morepurchases. Note I said purchases. Their quality of work is above average I would say. Their installations seem to be on point and well executed. The reason I will not return- the customer service, as previously stated. Matt Keeler is not God's gift to the equipment and truck bed game. He's rude and condescending. He generally has a 'can do' attitude, but in a way that allows him to try and make you feel like a fool and himself look like a genius. Not exactly the ideal treatment of customers. Basically, if you bow to whatever he tells you you're going to buy and receive, you'll get along great with him. Don't ask any questions, don't make any suggestions, don't ask for much out of the ordinary. Not only is Matt not very customer friendly, their office staff is miserable. If you call, you might get someone to answer after the 8th or 10th ring. Almost every time I spoke with someone, it was a very young sounding girl who couldn't answer any of my questions or point me in any particular direction. Just providing some noise on the other end of the line. The older lady that works there though is wonderful. She's very sweet and considerate. The other women up front could take a page or two from her book about customer service and knowledge. Additionally, their lot is overcrowded, poorly arranged, and poorly maintained. The driveways are rough as can be and it is extremely difficult to maneuver around if there are any other customers there besides yourself. They are entirely overstocked with inventory to the point they have crowded themselves out of customer parking area. Personally, I don't see the need to have 500 (I'm guessing, maybe it's more or less) flatbeds stacked around one on top of another on top of another! I get the concept of being prepared and having inventory available, but I feel like they've overdone it quite drastically in contrast to the available property they have to use. I'd suggest seeking other alternative bed installers/accessory stores/trailer dealers around Oklahoma. Believe it or not, there are more than one! Although this may come as a shock to Keelers.

I have lived in Ponca City for a long time. I have tried to use kealers many times for truck…read moreequipment. That have lots of great trailers, bumper replacements, and trailers, but the service is terrible.
