However, in my experience, groups of friends seem to be too set. Everyone has their own group to sit with and if you're an attendee for the first time you'll definitely notice this and unfortunately sometimes that'll never change even if you attend regularly. I went there for like a year and still felt like the outsiders, don't get me wrong, people are nice, but you just don't feel part of the group. Bobby Smith, the college pastor is great. Love his teachings and how enthusiastic he is. Also, the worship leader, Blake Russell is amazing. He does a great job. I highly recommend the all worship nights.

People here care about each other and support each other through whatever walk in life they are in. Pastor Wes, the youth pastor, is great with the youth and Pastor Harley, the interim pastor, is so wise! He preaches with authority. I had become disillusioned and planned not to attend church anywhere anymore. But not knowing anyone in the whole state of Texas - (and that's a mighty big place not to know anyone) - I visited out of sheer loneliness. Such wonderful friendly caring people who enjoyed their religion and each other won me over in spite of myself. I can only imagine where I'd have been if I'd not found this church. I remember in my first service and continuing more so when I got to know the folks - "This is the way Christians and church should be!" Thank God for Nacogdoches First Church of the Nazarene.
