Having a mouthful of overcrowded teeth for most of my life, I had already endured a great deal of gum health issues - some of my own making, but many due to the severe overcrowding. Over the course of 9 months, I interviewed with 2 other local orthodontists and although they were both great (each made sure to tell me how great they were) and I was confident that they would have done a wonderful job taking care of my teeth, I was still hesitant. Thankfully, as the old saying goes, third time's the charm. I made my way to Longmont Braces and before I even left the initial consult with Dr. Stephanie Ross, I knew that she would be the one I would entrust with my braces journey. She is confident and extremely intelligent, but without an ounce of pretension in her explanations or presence. I have witnessed her demeanor with patients of all ages, from young children to elderly, and have always been so impressed with her laid back approach. In addition, behind every great doctor is the team, and what an awesome team they are! From the moment my treatment started, I have been amazed by how this group works so closely together and makes each visit comfortable and pleasant even under circumstances that may not predispose you to that sort of experience. My mouth work just ended and the results are fantastic, just fantastic!! So I can tell you from extended experience that her service is excellent on all points. We particularly appreciated her knowledge, skill, and always taking the time to explain what's happening and listening to our concerns/questions throughout the entire process. However, within the past year, we have definitely noticed a significant decrease in customer service, and the way they treat the patients. Just trying to get a hold of anyone in the office is so unbelievably frustrating. Nobody ever answers the phone, it always goes to a random voicemail, and when we do receive a phone back, it's always at the very end of the day on a Thursday. They are closed on Friday. Our daughter had to suffer through an entire weekend of having her tongue cut open because of an issue with her braces. When we called them on a Wednesday, we never received a phone call back until Thursday at 5 PM. So she spent six days in pain because they could not see her until Tuesday. Additionally, we are trying to order our other daughter a replacement retainer. I can never get a hold of them to get that order placed. Now her teeth are moving, and I don't want to have to put her back in braces. I really hope that they read this review and realize that they might need to step it up. You're well known in the towns of Erie and Louisville and countless people go to you. You are going to lose your customers due to lack of customer service.

They tried to upsell me…read more I only wanted a cleaning. I have always gotten dental cleanings every six months. They insisted on x-rays many health issues happened in the past four years to me (including MRIs and other types of x-rays) the surgeon and MD who did surgery on me in Sept 2024 said avoid x-rays until October 2025. I am over 70 and not in great health. However, I have never had a cavity in my Life. My previous doctor, Jack DUNN, is retiring, so I had to find a new dentist covered by Cigna Medicare. Dr. Dunn was wonderful. I saw him for eight years. He never did a single x-ray on me and my teeth have been excellent until chemo. Damaged my health in many ways. I have autism and severe medically induced PTSD (which I noted in my online form). The ptsd is due to doctors misdiagnosing people in my family. My sister died before age 40 because of misdiagnosis. My healthy cousin, a dancer, died before age 50 due to misdiagnosis. A doctor over prescribed seizure medicines for me; so my liver is permanently damaged So going to any doctor, including dentists, puts me into panic attacks I am happy my Cigna rep helped me find another dentist; and was extremely compassionate about my "fight" response to fear When the receptionist kept arguing that I MUST get x-rays, I went into "fight" mode (argued in person/on phone later). My mother is an RN and I grew up being told to ask questions because doctors often make mistake mistakes. After what happened to my cousin, sister and me, I will refuse a treatment that I feel is bad for my health. Healthcare workers need to understand that every patient is different
