This was my first time at this dental office, I can't imagine anything under 5 stars for this place! Or I should say 5 stars would be and understatement. Nora the dental hygienist is super efficient patient and sweet . My cleaning is the best I ever had so satisfied. Thank you Nora! Rose I believe is the coordinator here she has the staff so organized knowledgeable about everything they're doing. Has a very calm and confident personality . they are simply all sweet, so extra professional and friendly, the place is so clean, they have machines that are state of the art , innovative, newest on the market so easy and fast my X-ray, a breeze it with a lady today I didn't get her name , she gave me a compliment bout my age . She was fast friendly and efficient, I simply Love how everyone here is good at what they do and they know it. So Confident in their work. I'll be back to get my cavities filled in the next couple of weeks, normally it's a dread but I'm feeling comfortable with these guys. , Dr sediq is awesome and explains everything in a way to make you as comfortable as possible before the needle goes in your mouth . I am happy to get Everything started and locked in with this dental office . My cousin referred me here and I'm beyond satisfied ! Dr Sediq also told me about teeth whitening and how it works and that if I actually do it would be a waste of money . Not even trying to sell me the kit! He told me I have excellent hygiene and I keep my teeth so good, even with coffee a days. Honesty is everything. I must say, for someone who doesn't like going to the dentist.. I've loved coming here because my family has always come here. The staff is extremely welcoming and nice & they always greet me by my name. Even though I love candy too much.. Dr Wax has always been incredible. He has always accommodated to whatever my teeth needed. If you need a cleaning, I cannot say anything but wonderful things about Dr Nora. I have been a client here for 5 years. They have removed wisdom teeth and have done an exceptional job, kept my teeth clean and have treated me with kindness and respect (something extremely important to me) on every visit. That being said, I have decided to part ways and let me explain why but first I would like to say that Nora the hygienist is an awesome asset to this place. I highly recommend her for her professionalism, kindness and interest in her clients. She does an awesome job and will be greatly missed. I would give this place 5 stars except for the reasons I will now share. I was referred to a periodontal specialist due to receding gums. My experience in the hands of this person and his rude staff (oh better believe I am leaving a scathing review on every platform for that one after my required final visit due to fear of retaliation. I feel I need to do this to spare anyone else the maltreatment) has made me so upset and angry that I can no longer even step foot in Oak Mill dental because it will evoke anger of the memory. It has been a few days since the procedure and I am still angry and can't sleep! I been going to bed angry and waking up angry. I have never been so angry for days about the way I was treated!! This specialist made you pay upfront in full and his office staff even asked me for my social security # which I did not give. That and the fact that when I called to explain my concern I was told "if it makes you feel better that person does excellent work" um at your referral I paid $2700 up front to be treated like trash!! So I am parting ways and finding another dentist. Being that I was a client here for 5 years and felt I could trust their referral and I did not do my own research as I usually do and just went with it. That was WRONG! This person has many bad reviews (not to mention photos of him on social media like he is Hugh Hefner surrounded by rude office staff) when there are other professional specialists with impeccable 5 star ratings by many clients yet they sent me to one that's less than stellar and for that I can't be a client here. Would I recommend Oak mill dental yes hands down, they are great and interested in their clients. Had a few horrible previous dental experiences and then somehow landed here since they took my insurance and had some availability. I can not stress enough how thoroughly satisfied I am with this practice and everything about it! From the first call to book something to walking in there, they have the nicest staff and knowledgeable dentists on hand! When I saw the space from outside, I was a little uncertain about it, it looked small and a little old, but then when I walked it, it was nice and spacious! The walk from the front to the back is a lot longer than I anticipated since the business looked so small from the outside, and though not huge, their waiting area is extremely clean and we'll kept. The space is bright, lit up, and so clean! I am thoroughly impressed with the kindness and patience the staff has while booking and dealing with insurance, etc. And extremely satisfied by the dentists who seem to know what to do and how to do it efficiently. The bedside manner is great and I feel like they are never understaffed (from what I noticed in the all of two times I went lol). All in all, great place, parking is available on the side, extremely clean, smart, and nice! I would recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for great dental work and friendly and welcoming front desk and xray staff! read more

If I could give this place a negative 10 rating I would. My kids have been patients for quite sometime now. First their confirmation system sucks!!! You make an appointment and the system sends a different day and time. Second, my daughter needed braces and the "orthodontist" they use is a complete idiot. 800$ lost gone never to see again. He was so confused every appointment, gave me different information about the process of braces every time and had the audacity to get upset when I would ask questions. He would say "I know what I am talking about, I'm the doctor." I wanted my money back for the treatment my daughter DID NOT get. I spoke to the owner and also still waiting to hear from a "manager" I was told from the front desk would call about the situation. read more

This place is gross. While getting my teeth x-ray, the exposed part that they put into my mouth kept touching my lip. I told the lady and of course she didn't care and I just got an "oh". After my x-ray she just put it away. Not a cleaning or put somewhere to be sent off to be professionally sterilized. I'm mortified!!!! I will never come back here. I can't stress how disorganized and unprofessional this facility is. It's been an excursion getting my mom her dentures. There was no explanation as to why there had to be 6-7 visits in order to get the dentures. I would not recommend this business at all. They are always overbooked. If your appointment is at 3pm, good luck you'll be there until at least 5pm. Terrible. read more

Been a patient here for three years now. I am very worried that Oak Mill Dental is honoring their work. Just over the weekend had a crown that is only 2.5 years old fall out. Looks to me that the core build up underneath crown has been compromised. A crown at minimum should last 5 years. Will see what happens at my appointment later today! Very nice dental office. staff is nice and very helpful. They have late hours. I always go there in the evening but they are also open in the morning. They accept lot of insurance including public aid. If someone has public aid go and see the dentist, your I surface covers it and they accept it.. read more

I am perplexed by the last comment because I also have an HMO and I was always only charged the $10 co pay for an exam and cavaty fills. Dr. Alan is the most awesome dentist. My childrens last dentist was not a very nice or gentle guy he was very impatient with my young children. They hated going to the dentist every 6 months. Well I found Dr. Alan and now my children love going to the dentist. He is very patient and fist pumps them, explains every single procedure to them. He calls my children sweethearts and lets them control the water and air. When they are finished the dental hygienist always comes in with treats, bracelets, rings etc. His front desk staff is very accommodating. Also, they called me to cancel my daughters appointment becauee Dr. Allen had an emergency and they were very apologetic and accommodated my schedule. This practice is an absolute scam. I first came in for dental work (dentures) in May 2016. It was estimated for the work to be finished over 2-3 months. Over 18 months later, the entire procedure and complications that proceeded have been paid for, but my teeth and quality of life are worse than where I started. My dentures are loose - the abutments are worn down and were poorly implanted, as admitted by Dr. Sandusky, who was among the various practitioners that attempted to work on my dentures. The dentures sit poorly in my mouth and there are gaps between the gum and prosthetic. The dentures are also a choking hazard. They displace when I speak or eat, which has caused extreme inconvenience and frustration. Beyond this, the poor placement of the dentures leave room for infection. Surrounding the abutments is extreme inflammation and swelling. I have experienced consistent pain and discomfort since the dental work began. As a patient, I felt I never received the full attention I deserved. The dentists would alternate between patient rooms during my appointments. There was no organization in which dentist I was seeing and each practitioner refused to take full responsibility of my dental health. As a result, my complaints were overlooked and my health was put at risk through the negligence of Oak Mill Dental's practitioners. I have been patient and compliant. I have paid in full consistently and on time, regardless of my disappointment in the work. I have also paid out-of- pocket for the poor attempts at fixing the deplorable work of Oak Mill Dental's practitioners. I have expressed my frustration countless times and have given the staff multiple chances at fixing what has gone wrong. The pain, discomfort and financial burden that I have endured as a result of the staff of Oak Mill Dental is unacceptable. I have asked persistently for a response to my inquiries and complaints, and have not heard back for months. The manager is nowhere to be found, and I am not sure who is in charge of this chaotic practice. Save your money, time and well-being and DO NOT GO TO OAK MILL DENTAL. read more
