This little town, along the Panhandle Trail feels almost like stepping back in time . . . As soon as I turned the corner, I saw a fountain, a gazebo, an old-fashioned clock, and a sign for the Memorial Day Parade. Near the fountain (check out the video I uploaded of the fountain) was a little free library, and I saw a Mom & Pop Hardware Store, and Diner, and a cool painting on the wall that said "America's Home Town" . . . a nice little stop off the trail if you are hiking or biking. Not to mention, home of Helicon Brewing, a great little brew pub, which is also next to the trail, on the other side of the creek from the town, directly on the trail . . . Cheers! read more
