I paid for hot water wash on the top loader and the water was Cold. I informed the attendant and was told to speak to the owner in the office. The owner said it's a government thing and that he would check on it. He didn't offer a solution or offer to rewash my 2 loads in a front loader. Clean & spacious, with a friendly staff & nearly 100% of machines are working in a regular basis. I hate there is not a handicap accessible restroom on site. I wish they were opened on Sundays for folks that work 6 days a week or have family obligations on Saturdays & need Sundays to catch up on chores. Due to then having an ample amount of various sized machines that all take cards, we can wash dry & fold our entire household's laundry in an hour and fifteen minutes. read more

Wow. My first experience with this place, and it was terrible. I left feeling absolutely violated! The male attendant dug through my clothes! The bathrooms smelled awful, bleach mixed with urine so strong that I could barely breathe. I loaded my clothes in the washer, put my detergent in and payed for my wash. I set a timer in my phone and went out to my car (felt safer in the car) there were people who were obviously on meth or aome other drug roaming around in and out of the facility. I hear my timer go off and go inside, to be approached by a very rude individual who is telling me he stopped my washer! He says that I need to shake out all of my clothes and dig through the pocketsbecause he heard something rattling. (I had several pairs of jeans) He wasnt yelling, but his tone of voice was VERY aggressive. I ask him how much time was left on my washer and he said he didnt know, he wasn't paying attention. He just keeps telling me to shake my clothes out. I proceed to tell him I just want my my ey back and I'll go finish my laundry at hime since it seems that the scent beads have already dissolved. My clothes were SOPPING wet. He tells me that he will pay for my load with this little card and starts waving it around in my face. I tell him I dont have the time to sit and wait for my clothes to run through another cycle and then he tells me that there were only 18 minutes left on my timer. At this point im mad and just want my money back. He proceeds to call the owner who tells me that they dont give refunds. Tell me how thats okay? Stopped my laundry, left it dripping wet, I still have to go back and run it through my washer and dryer, and will not give me my money back. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had in a laundromat. read more

Great laundromat. Very clean and helpful staff. Clearly everyone here is respectful of everyone else and very friendly. Like most things in Asheville it felt very much a part of the community. Glad we have this as an option in our neighborhood. The machines are well maintained we did 5 loads of regular laundry here in 33min wash cycle (with extra rinse/heavy duty option) and 18 minute dry cycle. We were visiting Asheville and had accumulated a week's worth of laundry. A quick check of Yelp showed this place as having Apple Pay-- instant win! So I gathered our stuff up and headed over. What a nice (and big!) laundromat! The Apple Pay meant I could just wave my Watch at each machine-- no coins or bills to deal with. Supplies are reasonably priced, with a great variety of high-quality choices. The machines are fairly new, high-end Electrolux units, very clean and quiet. The folding area is immense and super clean. Lots of parking, and I had a nice chat with another customer. Laundromats tend to be dreary but this one impresses. read more

I was nervous coming here in this area but it's a nice laundry mat. It is much larger inside then it looks because it's situated sideways so most of the building is lengthwise. There is an attendant in the back so that made me feel much more comfortable. It's next to a busy convenience store & a Pizza Hut on the other side of the store. The washers & driers appear to be a good value as far as I can see. It looks like they offer laundry services as well. The only draw back is I've seen 3 people searching the parking area who appear to be loitering around the building walking back & forth. read more

If I could rate this laundromat a 0, I would. They charged us $829.63 on a bill of $82. The owner was cavalier in our conversation regarding a refund, stating that he issued a refund. However, my account was overcharged $638.98 and since I used a debit card, there is a processing hold on my money wherein the soonest I can get it back is in one business day. This is the end of the month when bills are due and I still had to pay the original bill. On top of the fact that the owner was cavalier, when we went to speak to him, he had left. I've been going here for the past 6 months w/no trouble at all. It's well kept & the machines do their jobs. There's plenty of parking & the inside is very spacious. There are 2 change machines located on both ends of the mat which is a plus considering one is usually inop. However, you can also pay with a card by swiping at the machine. I realize some may not feel comfortable, but it's a lifesaver when you're not carrying a satchel quarters...I haven't been ripped off so far so I suppose it could be safer than swiping at a gas station read more

Wow this place is awesome! I just moved to this part of town and had only seen the front of it driving by. I had no idea how enormous it was, until now. Clean, very reasonably priced, very conveniently located, lots of parking, lots of carts and expansive folding areas. It's probably the most washing machines I've seen in one place at one time. The best part? Extractors!!! I have a lot of stuff that I don't like to put in the dryer so I normally end up having to take it home and drape it on my furniture while it dries. With the extractors, I can throw a whole load of that in there for a few minutes and get most of the water out to where they'll dry very quickly at home on hangers. The only other place in town I've seen with extractors was in Arden and half of the time they didn't work, or the place was just super shady and dirty (the latter being, all the time). Edit: all of the extractors are broken.... :( read more

Huge place. We were running from IRMA and needed to clean the clothes we brought with us. Stopped here and opted for their newer washers. $3 a load. That is a bit on the high side. It is the most I have ever paid to do laundry anywhere we have been. Move over to the dryer and it is 75 cents per 5 minutes. They dry FAST so don't over pay. So, I guess that sort of made up for the overpriced washers. It did the trick. We had our soap and dryer sheets with us but they do sell soap. Not sure how much. The office was open while we were there. Minimal open hours on Sunday. Very well lit. Clean and staff is willing to help when you can't figure out their machines. read more

Machines and facilities are clean and they have some of the biggest washers and drivers I've ever seen. I came to wash lots of blankets, quilts, bedspreads and pillows and only needed to use a couple machines at a time. I'm not a frequent laundromat user, but it seemed very affordable to me. The attendant was the nicest person, who not only helped me choose machines and figure out how the pay system worked, but promised to keep an eye on things while I ran some errands between shifting loads. Super nice, funny and motherly, which we all need sometimes, no matter how old we are. I highly recommend this place. read more

Clean, well lit, friendly and very helpful attendant, and unbelievably many large capacity washers. The newer ones even accept cards and...Apple Pay (with your watch if you have one, which is awesome when your hands are full with clothes and laundry supplies). i don't normally jump up and down about doing laundry, but i am so pleased with my experience at the oakley coin laundry. i went there yesterday to wash our heavy blankets, which are too large for our home machine. the equipment at the laundromat is top quality and well-maintained, the attendant was kind and helpful toward me, and the facility was clean and safe. it is a great place to wash and i will return there for sure. read more

I always come to this laundry spot because it is 5 min from my house... it is clean and they have lots of machines and even when they are really busy they always have machines open. Keith that works there is great... he is a hard worker' very helpful, opens the door for you and is always eager to help. However there is an older woman who works there as well not sure if she is the owner but I hope not. She is probally one of the rudest employees I have ever met. She is condescending to some customers and seems to be very rude and abrasive to younger people such as myself. I have been going there for almost a year and I always try to flash her a smile but I gave up because she always looks like she has a stick up her ass all the time and snarls. I have tried to say hello and make eye contact but she is just rude. She yelled across the room once to my husband to leave the machine alone as he was trying to put it on pre wash .. he knew what he was doing and she just yelled at him like a child. And what really is the worst thing is that she smokes right outside the laundry matt door where you go in and out with clean laundry... right where it says no smoking! I would really apreciate whoever the owner is to enforce that rule as a non smoker I find it disgusting that I have to walk through her smoke cloud everytime I go do laundry! And it wouldn't hurt her to be a little more welcoming. read more

Was in town washing some blankets for family. This is one of those places that uses PRACTICALLY NO WATER in their "water efficient" machines! Three washers on the end closest to attendant have actual water...if you want add ins like warm or hot water you will pay .50-.75 more...this place is bs! They will never get another quarter from me. Jane was very helpful and showed us how to operate the machines and use the new credit/debit card function. The laundromat was clean and the staff were helpful.
