You just arrive & join a small que, however on Saturdays it can be quite long. There is no fuel available here or any other amenities, never needed the loo but I'm sure they provide one if needed. Just because it's in the sticks, the MOT inspection is of the same standard as everywhere else & takes just as long. I have used this place for the past couple of years on recommendation & would continue to do so. I have both motorcycle & car, they both get tested here. I think it's only open Sunday mornings.

My initial call was to just to arrange when the car could go in but within hrs the clutch had gone completely & the car was un-drivable. They dispatched a pickup truck to collect the car within the hr. During the fixing of the clutch, a problem was found with the gear box & they phoned me to call in so I could be shown. (no nothing about gear box's) The final bill was very reasonable I thought considering the scale of the job. Would recommend using them. The garage was hidden but now more visible & accessible with the opening of the new supermarkets close by.

In a time when the cost of living is souring, prices are going up and with that, I would expect the level of customer service to follow it. One MOT 2 tyres and a service, approx. £680 later, I had to take the vehicle back because a warning light came on. on the dashboard to say the tyre pressures were incorrect, after that I had to take the car back again because the branded valve covers had been removed and one was damaged and just left. On complaining about this the garage admitted fault and offered to put it right twice, I declined out of principle because their customer service levels are poor, I expect value for money and customer service to be on par with my spend, unfortunately this cannot be said from my experience. I hope that this will change at RMH, Abraham's customer service was far superior.

Now a regular customer, they have never tried to stitch me up like the major tyre chains, and they take the time to discuss your needs and budgets for tyres. My Mitsubishi has an unusual tyre size and the chains wanted £170+ per tyre with no options. Darcy's were able to supply me at £100 per tyre, and they currently do MOT's for £30. Can't rate these folks highly enough........... give them a call!

This time, a full service on my Peugeot 407 quick, efficient and well priced. However, a couple of niggles appeared after a week or so. Called Glendale, they asked if I could bring the car in that day. Duly arrived, seen straight away. Diagnosis as I suspected (wheels had been switched during the service, so 'new' fronts out of balance, and a clip on the under-tray had given way following some under-engine work during service.) Sorted within 20 minutes of arrival, very polite and courteous, explained everything that was going on. No charge and free coffee. Can't recommend them highly enough. In an industry awash with charlatans, these boys shine out. 10/10.
