"A dentist that truly understands my fears" I must be one of the most nervous patients that you have ever known, but since the moment I met you I have felt that you have put me completely at ease with your very calming influence. You have taken the time to explain everything you propose to do to my teeth, and I have felt very reassured by this. It seems to take away all my fears and worries. This in itself has rebuilt my confidence and faith in dentists. Also the dental nurses that have assisted you have always been very pleasant and they also make me feel very at ease as well. The dental work you have carried out has been very professionally done and to a very high standard, and I am delighted with the work especially to my front teeth. Meet the Business Owner: Andrew Hopkins ..

Andrew Hopkins BDS UK 1987 GDC reg no: 61991 Andrew qualified at Guys Hospital in 1986 and developed a passion for restorative dental care early on as an undergraduate. In his final year, he was awarded the Newland Pedley Medal and Prize in restorative care, and was then awarded a House Officer position in the restorative department. This provided the impetus for many post graduate courses to refine his techniques in modern Cosmetic and Restorative care. He established Oakmead Dental Care in 1989 with Peter Dooley. They had a vision to provide a refreshing approach to dentistry built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect for those people seeking our care. His empathetic nature makes him ideally suited to supporting anxious individuals and children through their dental care. When not at work, Andrew can be found on the touchlines of some sporting venue supporting his two young sons. He is also active in fund raising for children's charities.
