I came from out of state and we have a similar business in our area. It's such a fun experience to pick out the different scents you like and even mix them together to create a unique smell. For the bridal shower, the bride picked out 6 pre-made scents for the shower guests to choose from for their candles. This made it much easier and smoother for the shower to stay on schedule, while still being a fun experience of making your own candle. I'd love to see them expand into soaps one day! The business in my area also offers gel hand soaps which is another great option. Staff here were so kind and you can tell they love doing what they do. Highly recommend this woman owned and run business if you're looking for something different to do!

This isn't a place you would visit on a regular basis, but a great place to find home decor items or if you are looking for a birthday gift, house warming gift, or some other special occasions. They sell a lot of jewelry, crafty-type items, cards, candles, scarves and hats, and other fun stuff. Today, I purchased two birthday cards and a Christmas gift for the in-laws. They offer different types of accessories to make the lifetime of your candle last longer. You can of course smell the scents to see what you'd like. Large jar candles can be expensive but they tend to offer sales which make them more affordable. While I was shopping for Black Friday they were offering their "sparkly" candles for $5.00 which was a $10.00 savings. I purchased 5 of them for stocking stuffer gifts and this purchase entitled me to a clutch for $15.00 that included a candle, a scent for your car and a couple of other things. That helped me scratch someone else off my list. Staff is very friendly and eager to help you. I normally purchase an open air lid which you can use on just about any large or midsize candle to allow the wax to evenly distribute while you are burning your candle. They teach you the best way to trim your wick and give you other recommendations for enjoying the scent you have purchased. One of the best things is that once you purchase a candle from them it will last for a long time before the jar is completely consumed. Some of their current scents are named after the Sound of Music movie but it is still worthwhile to pay a visit and see what's new.
