Overall, Oasis is a very nice and well manicured campground. Kids really enjoy the pond and pool A few complaints though. We stayed July 3-7 with 5 other families. First - we booked online in January for a stay over the 4th of July. Once the reservation went through, we saw we were over charged. On Holidays they had buy 3 nights, stay a 4th for $25. We were charged full price for all 4 nights. My husband called right away to resolve this and was told that they cannot refund credit cards. So, you can charge them but not credit them? Sorry, I don't believe that. We said we understood and they offered a $55 credit at the store. They also said they would make a note on our reservation, so when we check in it shows. Guess what? We checked in and no note. We set up camp and came back into the office to get our credit (we decided to take the credit in wood) As we walked in, there was a gentleman very upset, seems that they overbooked and his site was given away. We waited for them to resolve the issue with this customer. I was pretty shocked by the lack of resolve. The customer had the receipt and confirmation number showing that he booked in April and was charged in full. Instead of just admitting that they had a computer hiccup, they continued to try and find out why the computer did this. At this point, WHO CARES?? Figure out your computer issue on your own time, and get this customer a site! This took well over 1/2. Well, no sites, so they sent him to their sister campground in Stevens Point. He was not happy. We were also in the office on another occasion and another camper was overbooked. So, we witnessed 2 issues with overbooking. Long story short, We got our credit in fire wood. Out of our group of 6, only one family was charged correctly. The other 5 did as we did and went to the office to collect their $55 credit. 4 out of 5 got them. They told the last family that they are not giving any credits out anymore. They gave out too many credits. ARE YOU SERIOUS? YOUR THE ONE THAT MESSED UP THE CHARGES IN THE FIRST PLACE! VERY POOR MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! Second Issue - No one really knows the pool times. LOL They advertise that they have a adult swim from 8-9 pm. Tried to swim at 8:10 on Friday night and was kicked out. Pointed out that they post adult swim on the sign. She said, well, sorry I have to clean it. Mind you - There is no lifeguard on site at either the pool or pond. They are not paying anyone for that position. That was shitty considering it was so humid and hot. A swim would have been nice. My friend went to the office on Saturday night to see if they would have the adult swim and was told, no they aren't doing that tonight. Pool closed at 8:00 pm all weekend. They also shut down the jumping pillow at 8:00 pm. REALLY? Who does that? EVERY CAMPGROUND I'VE EVER BEEN TO - POOL CLOSES AT 9:00 PM WEEKDAYS AND 10:00 PM WEEKENDS. Oasis - GET WITH THE PROGRAM. The management really needs to get their sh@# together. read more

My family and I arrived to a cabin that was full of sand. It was all over the floor and bed. My daughter went into the bathroom and found poop floating in the toilet. There were flies that had been swatted and squished up against the windows. Their guts and body were plastered to the glass. The previous tenants had made coffee. The machine had been put back with the coffee grounds and let over coffee remaining inside the machine. When checking out, I talked to the lady at the counter who was mortified. She went to tell the manager 2 times to explain the situation. The manager never came out to talk to me or discuss the issue. We will not be visiting the campground again. read more

Worst customer service ever. Most rude manager in the world. World not address any of the issues. Blamed it on seasonal weather. And the blames no weather stripping on bottom of door due to early checkin(and the only reason we got early checkin was because no one stayed in cabin night before). Its so brittle at bottom of door which let ants and air in. He didnt care said its not his problem and ISNT GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. JUST PLAIN RUDE. My niece who is 17 witnessed the whole RUDE behavior of the so called manager. For all the money we paid he said he didnt care. Do NOT stay in the cabins unless u like run down conditions bugs air conditioning that doesnt work (well works but doesn't keep cold) and RUDE behavior!! And I will mention I called on Saturday afternoon and they said they will send someone right over neve did. Next day Sunday stopped at offce 9am said send someone right over, NOTHING. Back to cabin 2pm and called again and finally sent someone over and was treated as mentioned above. If I ran a business I would be embarrassed to hire staff like this. As a local resident, Hancock is lacking decent places to swim. Therefore, you would think that as a local business, Oasis would extend some sort of discount to local residents. NO, THEY DO NOT! On a typical Saturday, my daughter and I took my grandson swimming. They charged $15 per person (even though neither my daughter nor I were going to swim). Plus, $5 for the car. So it cost $50 so my grandson could swim for an hour! Also, when I questioned why they would charge for people who weren't swimming, the 2 girls said that's what their policy is ND that they are privately owned so they can make up their own rules! Based on other Yelp reviews of mostly 1 star along with my review, most businesses would've been out of business. read more

The place is clean and beautiful! The staff is not helpful or accommodating! I bought a dress in the store on the grounds. The second I paid cash and showed my friend it she said it has 2 holes. I told them and they would not give me a refund. There was no where were it said as is or no refunds. Management would not give me a refund either. No customer service. They get your money they are keeping it!! read more

Staff is rude - from the moment we pulled in we were followed to our site and was told we were speeding (speed limit posted was 5mph and I was going 8mph) however, the kids/adults on their scooters go about 15 miles per hour and do not watch out for others. The staff on their gators were driving at least 15 miles per hour, and other vehicles were speeding also but most of them seemed to have permanent sites so I guess none of the rules pertain to them. There was supposed to be a quiet time but we were kept up most nights by loud people and music. The staff drive back and forth on their golf carts constantly and you feel like you do not have any privacy whatsoever and are constantly being monitored. The rules here are ridiculous and by far the worst campground I have been to in a very long time. All of this may explain why almost half of their sites were empty. We asked one of the security kids driving around to please have the owner stop by our site so we could speak to him regarding us feeling picked on ALL weekend for every little thing and he never showed up to our site. Bartenders are slow and also extremely rude. We will never go to Oasis again. read more

We camped here last year and got a discount for a group of 5 campers for the 5 sites but not this year. Staff is not knowledgeable not friendly. Not a customer friendly campground. Just had to cancel a 3 night reservation 4 weeks in advance of our arrival and was told they do not offer refunds! They could give us another date. We cannot go another time this year so we are out the money! Never again would I make a reservation at this place! Too many other nice campgrounds in the area there. Should have remained a KOA -their cancellation policy is more ethical. read more

This campground has so many fun things! The beach gets crowded fast but we found a spot. The grounds are very well kept and clean. It was nice to see staff riding around on golf carts monitoring the campground. read more

This is a great campground! It's really run well and maintained beautifully. The workers are friendly and constantly cleaning, picking up trash or checking on general needs of the facility. The bathrooms are very clean which is rare at a campground pool. The inflatables offered days of fun for our 7 and 9 year old!! The beachside bar is such a fun spot. I'll warn you though... the Bill's lemonade is addictive!! This is the first time we've spent a whole week camping and I'm so glad we did it at Oasis! We will be back!!! read more

My husband has a concealed carry license, no signs are posted that firearms aren't allowed in. In a rush to clean the cabin we accidentally left his wallet and gun in the cabinet, we weren't even finished checking out and let them know so we could have them back and they treated us like we did something awful. They reported the serial number (I have no idea why) and then banned my husband from going there. A man who said, "I'm a cop and I run this place" told my husband "your CCW has no power here." The man was extremely rude and over the top. My husband said there weren't any signs saying he couldn't have it, the man said that it was in the rules, after reading through the rules in their website twice I found "concealed weapons aren't permitted." Not in bold or anything. The weapon technically wasn't concealed and in Wisconsin you need to have signage at least 5 by 7 inches in a prominent place referencing the restriction if you don't allow firearms. It was an honest mistake and my husband was extremely polite about it. The gun was not used or brought out at any time, my husband carries a gun pretty frequently for protection. We were treated like criminals for a mistake and asked not to return. I understand it's private property and they can tell anyone they can never return but we were treated really unfairly. read more

Wonderful stay here. Beautiful park. End of season so really quiet. Trails all over to walk around. The staff is so nice. Our stabilizer jack would not come up so we called Jamie in the office, who sent her fabulous husband to help us. Bless you guys. The restroom/ showers are clean and really nice too. Beautiful and clean campground. Nice sites and the full hookup is wonderful! Quite camprground minus the hwy noise. The wipe out zone is awesome, even tho the weather wasn't pleasant. BUT management/staff was NOT! The many times to the store not a thankyou, smile nor even a welcoming feeling!!! We stayed for pumpkin fest? Ran out of cookies before the start time that was even posted. And we heard from the cashier and other lady talking that they were all out of cookies! ( they didn't even tell us to our faces nor apologized!) Pumpkin bowling, the girl running it up and left with two kids left to bowl yet! Didnt even pick up the stuff. My kids stayed and played and we ended up picking it all up. And all the other children only got to go once. (What fun) deff geared towards adults we felt. This campground is pretty awesome but could be. A lot better. The activities for the kiddos are pretty good...gaga ball, jumping pillow, pool, pond with inflatables......etc, The camping amenities with full hook up are fantastic. One HUGE downside....the freeway noise. It is not relaxing. Hard to hold a conversation around a campfire without having to speak very loud. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for this. read more

The mem's are cool but it's kinda weird. You're 5ft apart from your lovely neighbors (includes children who scream cry at night) also includes 3 bathrooms for the entire campground to share if you're tenting it. On the plus side I got to pet two dogs so far although people don't really like you petting their dogs that are off a leash and wander up to you. Also people will walk straight through your campground (literally a man and his child doing it rn) again great neighbors they're so friendly your camp is their camp. read more

ADVISORY, before you become a seasonal at Oasis campground you need to know that the $500 deposit is a scam! As a seasonal of 4-years the owner refused to return our deposit, per owner we didn't give an advance notice which is a lie but that is how this campground operates, they never honor their own agreements and are guilty of twisting the terms of the agreement...example the meter reading charge is suppose to be $5 quarterly but instead they charge a $5 meter reading monthly this way they can make extra money off you...the campground has never issued the yearly agreements on time either however per owner it really doesn't matter as the agreement is not binding like a contract so the campground doesn't have to abide by the agreement as it's only an agreement to use the campsite and it's not a rental contract thus the deposit of $500 can be withheld....so beware as you'd be essentially giving away your cash deposit so think twice as the owners have no intention of returning any deposits....the other shameful issues are the police had to be summoned for misconduct of intoxicated onsite managers, another known incident is where the owners threatened a seasonal couple to either pay a $1500 dollar electric bill for one month or be kicked out? The seasonal couple hired an electrician and it was noted that the hard wiring to the box was actually for all the golf cart batteries being charged which actually belong to the campground so the electric bill was not for the seasonals camper but rather the campground however the owners still forced seasonal couple to pay the inflated electric bill or be evicted from Oasis campground. The place will RIP you off every chance they get. There is an up charge for everything. There is soooo much more wrong at Oasis campground just read other reviews. read more
