When I visited, the exhibit was "femmes volcans forêts torrents,) an exhibit featuring nine woman artists whose works relate to the environment, ecosystems, environmentalism, etc. I'm not sure I would have gotten much out of the exhibit or spent as much time at the museum except that they offer a free walking tour of the exhibit if you enter at the right time (included with the price you pay to visit; the museum is not free). The guide was wonderful and really helped me to have a better interaction with the pieces. I highly recommend taking them up on their offer of a tour if you have the time! Overall, very small and the temporary location is strange, but it can be very interesting if you're interested in contemporary art or if you're interested in the exhibit at the time you visit!

The gallerist Dorian Verdier was nice and welcoming, it's really rare to have this kind of atmosphere. I've seen the artist in live painting, he was really nice and smart too. I can say that L'Original art gallery was my favorite gallery in the old Montréal.
