I had come to this practice for over 20 years. Although I really liked Dr. DelGaudio (although I felt she was always overbooked and in a rush to get out of the room); however, I had learned that although SHE took my Geisinger insurance, the hospital she works out of does NOT (General). I found this out the hard way. I needed a procedure done and it was scheduled about a month in advance. Three days before my procedure I get a call from the office stating that they can't do the procedure due to the hospital not taking my insurance. I get it. I should've known this...I guess. But dang!! I feel like someone should've been able to give me a heads up like, "Dr. takes this insurance but if you ever need anything done outside of the office, you are SOL." I ended up finding a Geisinger inclusive Dr. who is phenomenal. read more

I agree with all of the previous comments about the front desk. They placed me on "hold" immediately, but actually disconnected the phone 3 TIMES!! And each time I called back, the lady got ruder and ruder, saying "ob/gyn associates, will u please hold!" louder and slower, like I'M the moron! All I need is a script REFILLED, which the pharmacy had requested Saturday afternoon. Mind u, it is now Monday afternoon AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T FILLED IT!!!! Now it's after hours, and they never responded to the pharmacy. I am very dissatisfied, no I am angry!, and after 20 yrs will have to change doctors. read more

Don't bother. I have yet to find one kind or cooperative person at this place. They immediately put you on hold, sometimes for over 10 minutes, when you call. They will also give you snarky remarks instead of just doing their jobs. The people on the phone act like they're doing you a huge favor for even the smallest requests, such as booking an appointment. You'll also wait at least an hour in the waiting room for any appointment. (My longest wait so far was 3 hours, so don't plan anything that day.) They do not follow up, even when they specifically say they will call you back. Three days later, they'll point the finger everywhere else to take the attention off of them. They'll order tests to be done "stat," but when you need answers from them, they won't have them and/or they won't call back as they agreed to do. My dog is treated more courteously at the vet than the office personnel will treat you. If you can, go somewhere else. Anywhere else. This place is an embarrassment to the medical profession. read more

I'd give a zero if I could. The nurses and office staff are very problematic. When I was younger I was referred by my PCP and scheduled for a procedure by THEIR staff. I show up to be berated that the doctor needs an office appointment first and how could I think I was having a procedure at that time. Younger me wasn't familiar with how referrals worked. It wasnt my fault your staff screwed up. They lie about call logs regarding appointment confirmations. Years of problems and inability to keep doctors in their practice. Most recent issue was being told my appointment was 15 mins earlier than it was and the nurses refusing to let me in the office because I was "late." Due to covid you have to wait in your car and call to enter the office. I provided proof and they stated I would have been late anyway.....because they refused to let me in!!! And be prepared to wait 45+ mins waiting for your appointment. Doctors are decent. read more

This practice is ridiculous!!! A year ago, they blew off my complaints of severe breast pain. My concerns continued and Finally they relented and sent me for an ultrasound. Fast forward 13 months and 13 surgeons/specialists later....got a rare breast disease diagnosis and still undergoing treatment. This office has NO idea what is happening because they canceled my yearly, not once... but twice!!!! "The dr is out of the office". No sympathy---no explanations. They can't get me In in a reasonable time frame. Ridiculous!!!!!! read more

I called my doctors office to reschedule a baby appointment, because next week I have one and didn't realize I have an appointment somewhere else that same day, 45 minutes earlier also concerning my pregnancy. I knew I wouldn't make both and the other appointment is harder to come by... anyways, I called to reschedule, and they asked if I'm having any issues and I mentioned how I just started a new job working 9 hour days 5 days a week... on my feet the entire time. MIND YOU, I haven't worked in a couple of months so my body isn't used to it... so my feet are swollen, which I've asked multiple mothers who stated it's NORMAL especially since I haven't stood on my feet for this long in a while. They said they would have someone call me back. A lady called me back and treated me like a total idiot. She told me to come in immediately and I stated that wasn't possible because 1. I'm at work at my NEW job, and 2. I don't have transportation. she said there had to be a way I could get here... I explained that there was nothing wrong and I just needed to reschedule. And that I didn't have a car. She said "there's other forms of transportation" I explained I JUST STARTED working, therefore I don't have money at the moment. And asked if I could come in tomorrow. She said "I will have someone call you back" I told her she is making me feel terrible and she said "i said I'll have someone call you back" I said "okay" and she hung up. Mind you, this was all in a snarky, snooty attitude. She basically made me feel like a horrible person because I couldn't make it to the office today. I couldn't BELIEVE how horrible she made me feel, causing me to almost cry. I'm a first time mother and this is my first pregnancy and I feel so upset right now, like I'm a bad person that I can't get to the doctors at this very moment...PLEASE, if you can, find a different OB. I've never felt so disrespected. read more

I agree with Nova O. fully... I thought all the exact things said prior to seeing this review. I hate having to call this office, not professionally polite. They always instantly place callers on hold and then when its picked up aren't even sure why on hold if being helped- trying to sch appts on the phone is a task.. great example when the woman on the line didn't hear me she responded "what" loudly and obnoxiously... instead of excuse me i didn't hear you. I work on phones as well and know the courtesy and polite approaches to take. They do seem to act like they're doing us a favor, when we are actually the ones scheduling and bringing the business. I noticed appointments get later and later and doesn't seem to work well with the everyday working person, but that's unavoidable. i have prev left messages for the doctor to contact me back that they have never even gotten... I try to avoid asking any questions to the doctors here since I never hear back. i also go to another doctor/specialist and they will place my call on hold and get my answers then if they can or call back with reasonable time. I'm truly considering a different practice after this build up just from the front end, and sadly has nothing to do with the doctors but the business works as a whole and I'd rather be treated with respect and feel comfortable going to an office in which i'm currently having to frequently visit being pregnant. read more
