We recently had a tree removed and I just knew our gutters were in dire need of cleaning. I did look at having a gutter guard of some type put in but the costs (cleaning was included) was significant. After I rec'd the quote from Gutter Maids I figured I could get this service done once a year for the next 12-15 years and still be ahead of the game. BTW, even with most gutter guard system it is still recommended to have your gutters cleaned every few years. I wasn't there when the crew arrived but my wife works from home and called me to complain about being distracted by men walking on our roof. So at least I know work was being done. When I got home everything was cleaned up and there was nothing out of place. I could see the first floor gutters from the upstairs windows and the job looked perfect. Everything from booking the appointment to paying the invoice couldn't be any easier. Good Job! Will definitely use them again.

We'd already had plans drawn…read moreup by an architect friend and the point of the remodel was to remove the original brick and concrete entry, that was falling in due to ice heaving, and replace it with a wooden deck with storage underneath. We'd taken care of the demo and landscaping to prep the site. Chad and his crew took it from there and did a really fabulous job. We have a challenging site because of heavy clay soil and large tree roots. They carefully set the posts and quickly got to work - late in the fall - on putting up the structure. The deck went up quickly and they did everything - including the horizontal privacy cladding, a custom bumpout to integrate the new deck into the 70s house, a custom double swing door to access the storage space, and a custom railing using wire panel - exactly to spec and with a high degree of craftsmanship. Chad and his crew were always timely, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up the worksite each day. We really appreciate the great work they did and have already been so thankful to finally be able to store some unsightly items out of the way and can't wait until spring when we paint the house and stain the deck. Finally, as a female homeowner, I really appreciated that they recognized that I was the person in the equation who cared most about the outcome of the project, who had the strongest viewpoints on the design decisions, and who needed to be consulted as the project went along. This is not always the case and it's refreshing to work with a crew who doesn't ignore "the wife."

Chris was the only person who looked at it who was able to figure out how the water damage was actually happening. Even the insurance adjuster missed it! I also appreciate that Chris and his team worked to save me money, e.g. keeping the original bathroom vanity when we determined it was still usable. This was an unplanned expense, so the ability to work with GreenSky was a big plus, too. The vinyl plank floor looks and feels great; now I wish I could have it in my kitchen and entry, too. Chris spent almost 2 hours going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground. The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. Chris made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes.
