Generally I'm only just on time (nearly), so rarely any waiting either. They are always very friendly, always a plus. The hair cut is as I like it, and unlike a barbers where you have to just wait, you can make a timed appointment. Minimally more expensive than a barber, but my time is valuable too, and they are much faster in styling than the barber (and no heads being chopped in pies, which is always worth knowning)

The Tangles girls (and guy) rock!!…read more Charlotte is well used to my occasionally off the wall requests: the ombré was amazing but we switched to red once it got popular in the village. Can't recommend her enough; her popularity however means appointments with her need to be booked at least a month in advance. Charlotte is also a hair dresser to the stars..don't ya know! Great head massage, coffee is passable and the junior staff are friendly, courteous and well trained thanks to the lovely owner, Steph! Definitely worth a visit!

Superdrug in Bideford is one of their smaller stores. it does have a small selection of cosmetics…read moreand does have quite a wide range of perfumes behind the counter. There is usually one you can try on the counter which is nice. It stocks a wide range of non prescription drugs. I find superdrug the cheapest place for things such as paracetomal, plasters etc. There is usually an offer on shower gel/bubble bath and deoderants/body sprays so if you're not fussy about what brand you use you can pick up a good bargain. The staff are polite and helpful. My only disappointment with this store is that it is too small and can be hard to get round the aisles if busy.
