The POC, Gene Williams, cannot be trusted. ***DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS*** I had to cancel my wedding A FULL YEAR IN ADVANCE and after promising me a full refund, he was caught in a lie about rebooking my date and refused to give me a refund. He did absolutely nothing for me and even after "100%" rebooking my date, he still kept the deposit. When confronted with evidence of his lie, he still refused to provide me the promised refund. Weddings are already expensive and stressful -- do yourself a favor and don't add to it with this company, as they will undoubtedly cheat you if given the chance. read more

This is the best time I've had at a wedding and it's because of OBX Trolley, Nick, the driver and Gene Williams the owner of Stella the trolley. We had the best time because there was no worry. Nick picked us(bridal party and family) up wherever we were staying and delivered us carefully to the venues which included the stop for the wedding photos. He waited for us to finish the night out and he then drove everyone home carefully. The addition of the trolley to the wedding arrangements was the best decision we could have made. There were no worries about getting lost because it was a destination wedding, there was no worry about getting there late because of the perfectly timed out scheduling done Nick our driver and at the end of the evening no one had to worry about driving after consuming alcohol. I 100% recommend OBX TROLLEY and I'm positive you'll have the same wonderful experience with this dedicated and professional business. Thank you Nick and Gene. Yelp doesn't give me nearly enough characters or photos to accurately portray the utter incompetence of the OBX Trolley and Gene, the owner. He'll respond about the 100s to 1000s of weddings they've done right... do you want to be the one they mess up? If you are, I hope you're prepared to take the blame. Even if you remind Gene you have a payment due, or an event at all (which I had to remind him multiple times), even if Gene asks you for something and you give it to him timely and as asked...you will be to blame for his shortcomings. He will take your money 9 months in advance, ask zero questions, and 1 month before the event decide he just doesn't want to do it. Also, don't ask Gene any questions...like none. For instance, 1 month prior to my wedding Gene remembers he needs a location, I give it, he says nope can't do it, I think "that's annoying" but give him an alternate and ask him to please let me know if this will work....Gene: "I'VE NEVER HAD TO DO THE JOB OF A BRIDE AND PLAN A WEDDING, IVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR YOU"...lol what? Ah, just happy I got a full refund, avoided this extremely unstable gentleman, and was fully accommodated by Mattie at Corolla Trolley/OBX Events Bus - they handle the same radius as Stella, but with much friendlier (and SUPER fun) service! Please do yourself a favor and hire Corolla Trolley/OBX Events Bus from the get go! read more
