Second time here... as you can see I don't get my nails don't frequently. All I want is a simple manicure/pedicure. No I don't want gel. The manicurist was in a rush. She filed my nails unevenly. The polish must have been old because it had little fiber fuzz in it and they got into my nails. I showed the technician and she said another coat would cover it. Personally if I'm at home I redo it but alright, it did cover it so I sat and dried and there were bubbles in the polish. It looks like sparkles. I was tempted to ask her to redo it but honestly the same thing would have happened. I showed the woman at the front desk and she put another clear coat on it which seemed to help. It is still not a great manicure and I am disappointed. Also my comment from earlier remains- this place can be cleaner. Dust is everywhere. The techs are in such a rush you can tell they are not sanitizing properly. This was my one free hour out of the house from the baby and it was just such a disappointment. Also word to the owner - it would really help to pay for the services after your nails are cleaned but before painted. I don't want to stuff my hand into my bag after my nails are painted. Every single salon I've gone to EVER for 20 years on Long Island operates this way. Go to just ONE normal nail salon on Long Island and take notes people. read more

It's always important to keep up to date with the new trends, & OC nails has got it all covered! All the nail techs are amazingly nice and have amazing talents. There variety of colors for your nails to be polished with is more than needed. In my opinion I think the prices are higher than most other salons, but the way many of these nail techs take their time and do a very good job on polishing nails is what pulls me into that salon every 3 week read more

I called and asked for an Acrylic Full Set, which the woman on the phone nicely accommodated me for. I went in about five minutes before my scheduled time and they let me pick out the color first. The set turned out great, a few rough edges here and there but nothing I couldn't file away myself. I do tend to pick around at my nails though so it may just be me over analyzing. My first time coming to this nail salon for a gel fill and design. It was the worst the guy didn't cut out the gel that was lifting and just put new gel on top of it. OMG! I have finally found the nail place after spending hundreds of dollars around town in nail places that do a poor job! My nails were done by Selena and she did a wonderful job. She took her time to shape them, she made sure they were not crooked and she filed beautifully. I was a walk-in and when I sat at the nail station, I indicated that I did not want heavy gel and with an attitude and disdain, the worker indicated that she did not want to do my nails. Ladies of color please stop patronizing there! We are a huge consumer base! There is an overt level of discrimination with the Asian nail stylist that is deplorable! This is my 2nd time trying to get my nails done and have been accosted with disdain! When spending your money you have the right to ask for the type of specific service that you want and are paying for. Deplorable and Unfriendly atmosphereI So, the owner sent me a message! Officially scratching this place off my list. I love my nail tech here - I get the dip powder over my natural nails and she's the only one who doesn't treat my nails like they're acrylics by being too rough and destroying my natural nails. My issue, which I've had FOUR times now, is that I call to make an appointment with her, and when I arrive shes unavailable or not even there! And I've called the same day sometimes, so how do they not know she's off that day and book her anyway?! And yes, I specifically ask for her and only her. I drive 25 minutes to come here and have to come while my kids are in school or hire a sitter, which makes me even angrier when I arrive and can't get my nails done. Unacceptable. read more

I come to the nail salon ALL THE TIME & the last time I went will probably be the LAST TIME. The first mistake SARAH made was telling me a price before the she even started the service. If I didn't ask how much for a design I think it's very insulting to tell a customer the price before beginning to work. Second I asked her to remove the set of nails I had and rather than her soaking it off in acetone or drilling them off she decided to use the nail tips to rip them off and in the process ripping my real nails off. Third if your going to charge $80 for a design make sure your work is perfected and flawless. The two pinky nails are uneven, the thumb nail doesn't have a flat surface and looks like there is a speed bump in it and the cheap sticker she put on is fading after 3 days, oh yes and let me not forget the messy work of applying the jewels & to be fair this isn't the first time she messed up on my nails read more

The nail salon is very clean and spacious, staff is nice and attentive.I recently went to do my nails here and I honestly was not satisfied with the results. I asked for a specific shape, length and design and I felt like the results were not up to par. I am from NYC and it was my first time going to a nail salon in Middletown, NY and I was expecting better service. I tried to see if I am able to fix my nails since they are too long and not what I wanted but I was being charged additional fee on top of the service I already paid for. My daughter got her nails done for Homecoming. Manicure and Pedicure $80 and she did not get any tips or gel overlay, just gel nail polish. Her nails were left uneven and her cuticles were a mess. By the end of Homecoming night the polish had peeled completely off of one nail. This was after just getting them done the day before! Clearly the polish was old or was not properly cured for this to happen after only 24hrs. My daughter was grossly overcharged for shoddy and substandard work. Never going here again. read more

Natasha did a gorgeous set for me today! Absolutely loved them, she was super sweet and a perfectionist which I absolutely love! I got a neon pink dip, and it didn't take too long, and was super relaxing. Would 100% go back, I just wish they were a little bit shinier, but you can always add a quick top coat at home! read more

Went there today for 3 pedicures. Very unprofessional. They charged me incorrect and chanced us to the parking lot. I paid what they told me. I was embarrassed for their error. We tipped very well even though a spa pedicure wasn't even a real spa pedicure. Massage was approx 3 min and only kegs no foot massage at all. I went to this place for 3 months. Little did I know that fungus was growing and no one caught it. Not sure how That even happened considering their supposed to be licensed professionals. As soon as it was brought to their attention. They immediately tried to shift the blame else where. Not realizing I have record of every transaction date and time. However, THE OWNERS (Scott and his wife who sits in the first row in the second chair) refused to provide me with their business information when I mentioned I was going to contact the proper authorities on the matter. I gave them 24 hrs to return my phone call in regards to this issue and I was told to contact via email and Facebook. Still no response. I never got a call back. They are extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!!! I came in on Monday. Thankfully I couldn't be seen because I was late. When I went to another salon that day. They filed my nails down and found fungus on both hands. Approximately 6 nails had fungus. And my nail bed on my toes were so thin they split like paper. I called crying hysterically for help. And she told me it wasn't her problem. And that since I was somewhere else. To let them fix it. NEVER ONCE ISSUED AN APOLOGY ON BEHALF OF HER OWN ESTABLISHMENT When I asked for a resolution. They told me to treat it myself. THEY WERE EXTREMELY DISMISSIVE (husband and wife) "These things happen"they said . They refused to take any responsibility because I'm a BLACK WOMAN!!! I've spent much money with them. And to have been treated so poorly. And the disgusting condition of my nails. I beg that you strongly reconsider before coming here. Oh. Made an appointment for 4pm. I understand this is new for them to make an appointment but I feel that they overbooked themselves. I waited 45 mins for my appointment. When you come I. They do t even ask your name when you tell them you made an appointment. I selected a color for my gel manicure and pedicure and the colors didn't even match at that point I was already fed up to even have them change it. To put the icing on the cake they tell me there is a 3% fee if you pay with a credit card or if you pay cash there is a 3% discount fee. I asked is this new bc before the shut down I have always paid with my card and never got charged extra. They claim this happened before the shutdown. Some places are charging a "covid19 fee" I wonder if this is what OC nails is doing? I never had a problem with this place before but I will not be returning. read more

at this place everyone here is very nice and conversational which is good but i gave them one star bc i got a full 10 mins with my feet in the water a whole 10 minute massage at the end and my daughter when we first got there they turned on the water filed her foot put it in water did the other out that one in water and took out the first one and that's the only time she got her feet to go in the water and they kinda just half did her feet unlike me they full blown did them and at the end for the massage my daughters lasted about 1 minute while mine lasted 8-10 minutes and right when my daughter was done they than had someone come out to do me and so instead of doing our feet together and being done at the same time my daughter had to wait another 30 minutes which was annoying! read more
