A really nice day outside and I felt like I had icicles forming on my nose. The initial check in was very efficient. Like everywhere, they tell you to arrive 15 minutes early, but the process of checking in was less than a minute. The person doing my mammography (I'm not sure if she ever gave me her name) was running late. I waited about 10 minutes extra, but once I got back there she was warm and friendly and the process was quick and painless. Overall, a good experience, and I've had a few in the past that weren't very good experiences, but BRRRR.

I couldn't lay still my back hurt my legs hurt and sorry for this but even my butt Crack hurt because he gave no time to position myself on the table. The staff seemed very polite and attentive to all the patients. I had read such bad reviews about the staff and how they treat you I was very skeptical about us coming here. I am grateful that this was not the case and not our experience today. Now I don't know if it's a certain time of the day that others had issues. Hopefully if there's a next time that they are treated better than the last. We waited about 35/45 mins before Kenn was called to the back to get started. Now I can say that was a little long of a wait with an appointment for 8:15am; the called him at 9:32am. The facility was clean, neatly decorated and noise factor was very minimal. The technician came and took me to the room where the mammogram machine was. She asked me to remove one side of the gown, and I was struggling with it because the gown didn't fit, and I was not offered a gown in a different size. The technician made me remove the entire gown and SHE TOOK THE GOWN FROM ME AND DID NOT GIVE ME ANYTHING ELSE TO COVER UP WITH. This made me feel very very uncomfortable. I asked a couple of times for something to cover up the breast that wasn't being worked with, but was told no. I was sexually assaulted at the VA a year ago. I'm very sensitive and I don't appreciate being treated this way. I was in tears for the whole visit. This was my last mammogram.

My entire day was lifted after interacting with her, and she is so incredibly knowledgeable and her radiance is just contagious. I was quite nervous and have a medical phobia, but my fears subsided because of her incredible "bedside manner." I just love her!
